(Rotoworld) The Houston Chronicle's Richard Justice expects the Texans to only offer Owen Daniels (injured reserve, torn ACL) a one-year contract in the offseason. Analysis: Daniels' injury, which will require reconstructive surgery, crushes his chances of getting a contract in line with the NFL's premier tight ends. It's possible that the Texans will use the franchise tag on Daniels in February, and make him prove his health all offseason before opening any long-term talks.
