1.01 1. MonsterDraft.Com Tomlinson, Ladainian SDC RBTue Jul 10 8:01:13 p.m. ET 2007 309.7The first choice is an easy one. It'll be a little tougher at 2.12.
1.02 2. FantasySportsCentral.Com Jackson, Steven STL RBWed Jul 11 5:17:04 a.m. ET 2007 169.4No brainer.
1.03 3. FantasyFootballXtreme.Com Johnson, Larry KCC RBWed Jul 11 5:17:04 a.m. ET 2007 98.5Pick made based on Pre-Draft List
1.04 4. RotoTimes.Com Alexander, Shaun SEA RBWed Jul 11 5:17:04 a.m. ET 2007 109.2Pick made based on Pre-Draft List
1.05 5. FantasyIndex.Com Gore, Frank SFO RBWed Jul 11 5:17:04 a.m. ET 2007 189.8Pick made based on Pre-Draft List
1.06 6. RotoWorld.Com Maroney, Laurence NEP RBWed Jul 11 10:25:44 a.m. ET 2007 133.1
1.07 7. SportsGrumblings.Com Addai, Joseph IND RBWed Jul 11 10:25:44 a.m. ET 2007 235.6Pick made based on Pre-Draft List
1.08 8. FFJungle.Com Parker, Willie PIT RBWed Jul 11 10:52:52 a.m. ET 2007 160.0Here's hoping that Mike Tomlin follows the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" mantra.
1.09 9. FantasyFootballWhiz.Com Portis, Clinton WAS RBWed Jul 11 3:49:13 p.m. ET 2007 237.8Honestly, this is the toughest point of the draft to make a selection as all the very good running backs are gone. So, Brian Westbrook is the next best on the board and I have him ranked fifth on the board.
1.10 10. FFToolbox.com Manning, Peyton IND QBWed Jul 11 7:36:18 p.m. ET 2007 379.0With a majority of the premier RB's gone, its a real blessing to find Manning still available at pick 1.10. Manning is the best overall passer in the NFL with two premier receivers in Harrison and Wayne, and a dynamic young playmaker Joseph Addai in the backfield. Expecting huge things from Manning in 2007.
1.11 11. WalterFootball.Com Westbrook, Brian PHI RBWed Jul 11 10:16:18 p.m. ET 2007 282.4Brian Westbrook averaged 5.1 yards per carry behind one of the largest offensive lines in the league last year. With Donovan McNabb nicked up, I expect Andy Reid to run the ball more. If not, Westbrook will continue to be a large factor in the aerial attack.
1.12 12. JunkyardJake.Com Bush, Reggie NOS RBWed Jul 11 10:16:18 p.m. ET 2007 141.8Pick made based on Pre-Draft List
2.01 13. JunkyardJake.Com Brown, Ronnie MIA RBWed Jul 11 10:16:18 p.m. ET 2007 131.1Pick made based on Pre-Draft List
2.02 14. WalterFootball.Com Smith, Steve CAR WRWed Jul 11 11:44:15 p.m. ET 2007 148.8Was deciding between Steve Smith and a specific RB. Smith's the safer bet.
2.03 15. FFToolbox.com Johnson, Rudi CIN RBThu Jul 12 8:03:07 a.m. ET 2007 86.7Steve Smith would've been a nice pick here, but with him gone and Rudi Johnson still on the board this pick became very easy. Rudi Johnson has rushed for at least 1,300 yards in each of the last three seasons, and scored 12 TD's in each. Pleasantly surprised to find a #1 stud RB to pair with QB Peyton Manning.
2.04 16. FantasyFootballWhiz.Com Henry, Travis DEN RBThu Jul 12 10:23:10 a.m. ET 2007 99.6Well, I will not make the same mistake here at 2.04. Travis Henry proved that he still has what it takes to be one of the top backs in the league, and moving to Denver will even magnify that fact, as Denver has created a 1000+ yard rusher in each of the last five seasons. I feel good about this one.
2.05 17. FFJungle.Com Harrison, Marvin IND WRThu Jul 12 12:53:59 p.m. ET 2007 30.7Old reliable...however, I'm hoping that the "old" part holds off one more year! Harrison is as consistent a fantasy performer as they come, posting eight straight seasons with 1,100 yards and 10 scores. His 1,366 yards and 12 TDs solidified him as the top-scoring receiver in many scoring formats last season. Even if there is a slight drop-off in his production, Harrison should provide excellent numbers. Parker and Harrison should make a potent one-two punch (other than Week 6 when they are both on bye).
2.06 18. SportsGrumblings.Com McGahee, Willis BAL RBThu Jul 12 12:53:59 p.m. ET 2007 191.8Pick made based on Pre-Draft List
2.07 19. RotoWorld.Com Jacobs, Brandon NYG RBThu Jul 12 12:53:59 p.m. ET 2007 154.5Pick made based on Pre-Draft List
2.08 20. FantasyIndex.Com Jones-Drew, Maurice JAC RBThu Jul 12 1:20:25 p.m. ET 2007 171.5I was sort of hoping McGahee would reach me here, and also considered taking a player at another position. However, Jones-Drew is one of only 2-3 running backs left who I really like as a second starter, and I doubt any of them would make it back to me next round. He's the pick.
2.09 21. RotoTimes.Com James, Edgerrin ARI RBThu Jul 12 1:39:18 p.m. ET 2007 184.8
2.10 22. FantasyFootballXtreme.Com Johnson, Chad CIN WRThu Jul 12 2:26:04 p.m. ET 2007 196.7
2.11 23. FantasySportsCentral.Com Holt, Torry STL WRThu Jul 12 3:20:34 p.m. ET 2007 162.9
2.12 24. MonsterDraft.Com Owens, Terrell DAL WRThu Jul 12 4:22:27 p.m. ET 2007 226.0Taking a bit of a chance here with the temperamental Owens. Hoping for at least a one year honeymoon with new head coach. He was definitely the focus of Romo's attention last year, and that should continue.
3.01 25. MonsterDraft.Com Gates, Antonio SDC TEThu Jul 12 4:25:00 p.m. ET 2007 152.4Can't wait any longer here. I've got to lock up the top TE to match with the top RB and probable top 5 WR. Week 7 will be dicey with Gates and Tomlinson resting, but love the potential payoff.
3.02 26. FantasySportsCentral.Com Wayne, Reggie IND WRThu Jul 12 5:14:48 p.m. ET 2007 211.4
3.03 27. FantasyFootballXtreme.Com Jones, Thomas NYJ RBThu Jul 12 5:40:03 p.m. ET 2007 145.6Very solid value if you ask me. Thomas Jones is a guy people will wish they didn't doubt -- again. Tomlinson, Chad and T. Jones... Great start.
3.04 28. RotoTimes.Com Fitzgerald, Larry ARI WRThu Jul 12 6:36:50 p.m. ET 2007 201.2
3.05 29. FantasyIndex.Com Brady, Tom NEP QBThu Jul 12 7:02:09 p.m. ET 2007 545.6A shade earlier than I'd like, but he's our No. 2 QB, and the scoring system is a factor.
3.06 30. RotoWorld.Com Johnson, Andre HOU WRThu Jul 12 7:02:09 p.m. ET 2007 133.1Pick made based on Pre-Draft List
3.07 31. SportsGrumblings.Com Lynch, Marshawn BUF RBThu Jul 12 7:02:09 p.m. ET 2007 180.3Pick made based on Pre-Draft List
3.08 32. FFJungle.Com Benson, Cedric CHI RBThu Jul 12 11:57:06 p.m. ET 2007 104.1Benson is a risk, but I need a second running back since several other players I desire are still available. I am picking Benson based on potential. He and Thomas Jones combined for over 1,850 rushing yards and 12 TDs last season. Now that Jones is gone, Benson is the undisputed feature back. That means that the numbers that he and Jones produced together should primarily belong to the former Texas standout this year. If he can give me at least 1,200 yards and 10 TDs, Benson is a bargain at 32. That is a big "if."
3.09 33. FantasyFootballWhiz.Com Evans, Lee BUF WRFri Jul 13 12:17:34 a.m. ET 2007 114.9Lee Evans has to be the selection at this point of the draft. He found his nitch in his third season with the Bills. Losman came along nicely as the season came to a close. He and Evans should become a formidable duo for the 2007 season.
3.10 34. FFToolbox.com Walker, Javon DEN WRFri Jul 13 8:04:12 a.m. ET 2007 28.4I really like what I hear coming out of Denver about Jay Cutler this offseason. With the addition of a stud RB in Travis Henry; Javon Walker will have plenty of open field to work with. While I would like to draft another RB I can't justify passing on a phenomenal WR like Javon Walker.
3.11 35. WalterFootball.Com Driver, Donald GBP WRFri Jul 13 9:59:46 a.m. ET 2007 117.2One of the most underrated players in the NFL, Donald Driver produces every year. I love that he's my No. 2 WR
3.12 36. JunkyardJake.Com Palmer, Carson CIN QBFri Jul 13 10:33:21 a.m. ET 2007 323.0I'm a little concerned with the slight downgrade in the Bengals offensive line, but surprised that Palmer is available in the late 3rd round.
4.01 37. JunkyardJake.Com Boldin, Anquan ARI WRFri Jul 13 10:44:29 a.m. ET 2007 140.7Hoping the Cardinals coaching change means more than 2 TDs from Boldin, but he's still solid regardless.
4.02 38. WalterFootball.Com Williams, DeAngelo CAR RBFri Jul 13 10:54:34 a.m. ET 2007 119.4I know I'm reaching here, but most of the top RBs are gone, and I need a second. All of DeAngelo Williams' production came in the 2nd half of 2006, so it looks like John Fox will utilize more often than DeShaun Foster. Plus, Carolina has a very easy schedule in terms of opposing rush defenses.
4.03 39. FFToolbox.com Peterson, Adrian MIN RBFri Jul 13 2:49:18 p.m. ET 2007 238.9Like the team so far...Expecting big things from the highly talented Peterson. Should be a great #2 back to go along with R.Johnson. This kid has stud written all over him.
4.04 40. FantasyFootballWhiz.Com Williams, Roy DET WRFri Jul 13 4:28:41 p.m. ET 2007 113.7I have to go with Roy Williams here being that this league requires three starting wide receivers and having Evans and Williams together is a very nice start. I have both ranked 5 and 6, with Williams being 5. With him being in a Mike Martz offense, I will be rest-assured that he will post numbers within the elite status at the position.
4.05 41. FFJungle.Com Houshmandzadeh, T.J. CIN WRFri Jul 13 5:48:13 p.m. ET 2007 187.7For this pick, I was choosing between Roy Williams and T.J. Houshmandzadeh. However, when Williams was selected one pick before my slot at 41, the choice was made for me. That is okay, though. Houshmandzadeh missed the first game last season and still finished a mere 11 points behind Williams in the rankings. He tallied over 1,000 yards and nine TDs, a number I am hoping will climb as Chris Henry, who also racked up nine scores, serves his 10-game suspension. Pairing Housh with Harrison should give me a solid receiving duo.
4.06 42. SportsGrumblings.Com Moss, Randy NEP WRFri Jul 13 5:48:13 p.m. ET 2007 287.3Pick made based on Pre-Draft List
4.07 43. RotoWorld.Com Colston, Marques NOS WRFri Jul 13 5:48:13 p.m. ET 2007 186.2Pick made based on Pre-Draft List
4.08 44. FantasyIndex.Com Burress, Plaxico NYG WRFri Jul 13 6:24:04 p.m. ET 2007 174.5Well, the last 3 of the guys I considered true No. 1 fantasy wideouts happened to go in the last 4 picks. Lesson learned; there's no point taking QBs early, because no one else will either. I do like Burress, I just hoped Colston or Housh would make it back to me. Oh well.
4.09 45. RotoTimes.Com Brees, Drew NOS QBFri Jul 13 6:31:44 p.m. ET 2007 365.3
4.10 46. FantasyFootballXtreme.Com Williams, Carnell TBB RBFri Jul 13 7:00:45 p.m. ET 2007 40.5We were really hoping Colston would fall, but we just can't pass up this kind of value here with Caddy. Yea, he isn't the best #2, but he is certainly a great 3rd RB to slap next to Tomlinson and Thomas Jones.
4.11 47. FantasySportsCentral.Com Bulger, Marc STL QBSat Jul 14 3:35:10 a.m. ET 2007 156.7
4.12 48. MonsterDraft.Com McNabb, Donovan PHI QBSat Jul 14 3:35:10 a.m. ET 2007 289.5Pick made based on Pre-Draft List
5.01 49. MonsterDraft.Com Ward, Hines PIT WRSat Jul 14 3:35:10 a.m. ET 2007 118.3Pick made based on Pre-Draft List
5.02 50. FantasySportsCentral.Com McAllister, Deuce NOS RBSat Jul 14 3:39:05 a.m. ET 2007 10.7
5.03 51. FantasyFootballXtreme.Com Turner, Michael SDC RBSat Jul 14 3:50:30 a.m. ET 2007 39.2Well, I can't wait 24 picks to take Turner given that he is climbing up the MFL Draft Tracker. Early or not (and I know we will take heat), I gotta make this move as it can save a season. A lot of these players have similar value right here anyway.
5.04 52. RotoTimes.Com Brown, Reggie PHI WRSat Jul 14 2:51:43 p.m. ET 2007 105.6
5.05 53. FantasyIndex.Com Green, Ahman HOU RBSat Jul 14 2:51:43 p.m. ET 2007 50.3Pick made based on Pre-Draft List
5.06 54. RotoWorld.Com Johnson, Calvin DET WRSat Jul 14 2:51:43 p.m. ET 2007 110.8Pick made based on Pre-Draft List
5.07 55. SportsGrumblings.Com Kitna, Jon DET QBSat Jul 14 2:51:43 p.m. ET 2007 276.2Pick made based on Pre-Draft List
5.08 56. FFJungle.Com Romo, Tony DAL QBSat Jul 14 5:13:40 p.m. ET 2007 413.2I struggled with this pick. I really wanted either Brees, Bulger, or Kitna, but they were all picked in front of me. Therefore, I have to make my QB now before I lose one of my last two QB options, especially since I have several other options available in round six. I am selecting Tony Romo over Phillip Rivers based on potential. With Tomlinson established as the top threat in S.D., Rivers' ceiling is just so high. Romo, on the other hand, threw 19 TDs (along with a somewhat alarming 13 INTs) in 10 games last seaon. That is almost two scores and a little over a pick a game. Now that he is the starter and has some experience, I'm gambling he can continue to produce the touchdowns and lower his interceptions a bit. He certainly has the weapons around him to achieve these goals. Romo should produce 3,500 yards and 24-26 touchdowns this year--solid, though not outstanding, numbers.
5.09 57. FantasyFootballWhiz.Com Chambers, Chris SDC WRSat Jul 14 5:51:27 p.m. ET 2007 122.2With Chris Chambers being my third wide receiver, I am as happy as a Fantasy owner can be. Many are down on they young man believing that he never lived up to his potential. However, when you have quarterbacks like Jay Fielder, A.J. Feeley, Gus Frerotte and Joey Harrington throwing to you, can really live up to your potential? Nope, you can't.
5.10 58. FFToolbox.com Barber, Marion DAL RBSat Jul 14 6:30:52 p.m. ET 2007 197.5Im amazed to find a RB who scored 14 TD's last year still available at the end of the 5th round! Marion Barber's role in the Cowboys offense should expand with new Head Coach Wade Phillips, and Coordinator Jason Garrett opening up the playbook. Barber is an elite goal-line back who also has great ability catching the ball out of the backfield (23 catches, 196 yards, and 2 TD's in 2006). Barber has the potential to develop into a fantasy stud, and is an excellent #3 RB to pair with Rudi Johnson and Adrian Peterson.
5.11 59. WalterFootball.Com Norwood, Jerious ATL RBSat Jul 14 10:18:45 p.m. ET 2007 95.2All the guys I was targeting were taken in the past couple of picks, so I have to "settle" for Jerious Norwood, who should see more action this year, given that Warrick Dunn is 32.
5.12 60. JunkyardJake.Com Lewis, Jamal CLE RBSun Jul 15 12:43:47 a.m. ET 2007 221.2Well, not an exciting pick, but Jamal Lewis looks to be the best value here. The Cleveland line should be better this year with Joe Thomas, so maybe Lewis will be a decent #3 RB.
6.01 61. JunkyardJake.Com Edwards, Braylon CLE WRSun Jul 15 1:21:07 a.m. ET 2007 224.9Really tough choice, since I didn't want one, let alone two Cleveland Browns on my team. Edwards seems to offer the most intriguing upside of the many good receivers still available.
6.02 62. WalterFootball.Com Galloway, Joey TBB WRSun Jul 15 4:33:34 a.m. ET 2007 137.5Played well with Bruce Gradkowski under center. Galloway will benefit from Jeff Garcia's presence. Great No. 3 fantasy WR in my opinion.
6.03 63. FFToolbox.com Jackson, Darrell SFO WRSun Jul 15 8:35:46 a.m. ET 2007 67.7While I'm a bit concerned by Jackson's knee injury he did score 10 TD's last season (3rd among WR's), and will be Alex Smith's first read in San Francisco. If Jackson can stay healthy, he should post solid numbers across the board (because he will be targeted frequently especially in the red zone). A quality #2 WR in my opinion, and a great value pick in the 6th round.
6.04 64. FantasyFootballWhiz.Com Hasselbeck, Matt SEA QBSun Jul 15 2:49:19 p.m. ET 2007 351.6Well, it is time to round out my starting group with the likes of Matt Hasselbeck. Some concerns are there about the strength in his non-throwing arm, but that should be corrected by the start training camp and he should enjoy a prolific 2007 over his disappointing 2006. Not to mention that I have him ranked 5th among quarterbacks.
6.05 65. FFJungle.Com Ravens, Baltimore BAL DefSun Jul 15 3:13:55 p.m. ET 2007 163.0Baltimore finished as a top-ten scorer in this scoring system last season. They tallied 20-plus points on nine occasions, including two weeks with over 30 points. There weren't many third receivers, running backs, or starting tight ends that chipped in fantasy points as consistently. The Ravens should be one of the best defenses again this year. Losing Adelius Thomas may hurt, but the Ravens should plug another great player in his place as they have done with previous defections. Baltimore's potential to be a powerful asset makes them a reasonable selection at #65.
6.06 66. SportsGrumblings.Com Bears, Chicago CHI DefSun Jul 15 3:13:55 p.m. ET 2007 259.0Pick made based on Pre-Draft List
6.07 67. RotoWorld.Com Davis, Vernon SFO TESun Jul 15 3:13:55 p.m. ET 2007 74.9Pick made based on Pre-Draft List
6.08 68. FantasyIndex.Com Moss, Santana WAS WRSun Jul 15 3:17:58 p.m. ET 2007 100.1Moss was my 2nd choice a round ago, and I was so worried I'd lose him before this pick I tried to trade up. I view him as -- potentially -- the last of the top-20 wideouts in the draft, and I'm pretty pleased to get him here.
6.09 69. RotoTimes.Com Clayton, Mark BAL WRSun Jul 15 6:06:28 p.m. ET 2007 53.1
6.10 70. FantasyFootballXtreme.Com Young, Vince TEN QBSun Jul 15 6:38:33 p.m. ET 2007 204.5Great value this late, IMO. Even with a weak WR crew, Young is capable of 10+ rushing TDs and Michael Vick-type rushing yards in 2007. I think the QB will finish inside the top 5-7 for fantasy QBs at week 16's end.
6.11 71. FantasySportsCentral.Com Coles, Laveranues NYJ WRSun Jul 15 8:20:16 p.m. ET 2007 100.6
6.12 72. MonsterDraft.Com Jones, Julius DAL RBSun Jul 15 8:44:44 p.m. ET 2007 90.7
7.01 73. MonsterDraft.Com Branch, Deion SEA WRSun Jul 15 8:45:08 p.m. ET 2007 90.1
7.02 74. FantasySportsCentral.Com Shockey, Jeremy NYG TEMon Jul 16 2:00:33 a.m. ET 2007 80.5Bulger, Jackson, McAllister, Holt, Wayne, Coles, Shockey. Ship it.
7.03 75. MonsterDraft.Com Stallworth, Donte' NEP WRMon Jul 16 10:56:32 a.m. ET 2007 88.9Happy to have another quality wide receiver here. I like his chances with all of the attention Moss will draw.
7.04 76. RotoTimes.Com Bell, Tatum DET RBMon Jul 16 11:29:47 a.m. ET 2007 30.5
7.05 77. FantasyIndex.Com Gonzalez, Tony KCC TEMon Jul 16 11:44:41 a.m. ET 2007 147.2Not sure I've ever had Gonzo on a team before, but that's because he generally hasn't been available to me in the 7th round. KC should be passing a lot when LJ either holds out or signs a big contract and gets hurt. Pretty clear I'm going to be losing the wide receiver battle a lot of weeks, so I need to hope for an edge at other positions.
7.06 78. RotoWorld.Com Cotchery, Jerricho NYJ WRMon Jul 16 11:44:41 a.m. ET 2007 128.7Pick made based on Pre-Draft List
7.07 79. SportsGrumblings.Com Horn, Joe ATL WRMon Jul 16 11:44:41 a.m. ET 2007 30.3Pick made based on Pre-Draft List
7.08 80. FFJungle.Com Jordan, Lamont OAK RBMon Jul 16 12:06:34 p.m. ET 2007 97.6Hoping for a return to his 2005 form, where he produced 1,500+ yards and 13 scores. With Dominic Rhodes out for the first four games, Jordan should have the inside track on that starting spot for what it is worth. I'm just hoping Jordan will still be productive by the time I need him for the byes. His upside makes him worth a pick in the 7th round.
7.09 81. FantasyFootballWhiz.Com Heap, Todd BAL TEMon Jul 16 12:55:56 p.m. ET 2007 29.9This will finish off my starting skill position players as finding Todd Heap on my roster is a nice addition, as he is to get more looks his way during the season per the talk out of Ravens minicamps. The guy just finds ways to make the most out of everytime that he gets the ball. Not to mention, that it does not hurt having a guy that puts up 5+ touchdowns and 700+ yards receiving over the last two seasons.
7.10 82. FFToolbox.com Winslow, Kellen CLE TEMon Jul 16 3:22:43 p.m. ET 2007 142.6Winslow had 89 catches last season, and his paltry TD total (3 in 2006) should improve with Brady Quinn now at the helm in Cleveland
7.11 83. WalterFootball.Com Cooley, Chris WAS TEMon Jul 16 4:40:30 p.m. ET 2007 128.6Chris Cooley looked like he had some sort of rapport with Jason Campbell at the end of the year. Here's to hoping that continues.
7.12 84. JunkyardJake.Com Holmes, Santonio PIT WRMon Jul 16 8:13:18 p.m. ET 2007 145.9While he's no sure thing, I like the way he picked up the game quickly as a rookie. The Steelers should throw more this year under Arians, so Holmes could make a strong #3 receiver.
8.01 85. JunkyardJake.Com Crumpler, Alge ATL TEMon Jul 16 8:35:46 p.m. ET 2007 74.4Crumpler seems to be the safe choice in this spot, although he is not w/o risk given his offseason knee surgery, QB problems and the Atlanta coaching change. Good thing noone else on the Falcons knows how to catch passes.
8.02 86. WalterFootball.Com Patriots, New England NEP DefMon Jul 16 8:51:24 p.m. ET 2007 263.0The Patriots collected numerous sacks, INTs, FRs and TDs last year, and that was without Adalius Thomas.
8.03 87. FFToolbox.com Jackson, Vincent SDC WRMon Jul 16 9:07:25 p.m. ET 2007 80.3I had planned on taking the Patriots defense here, but with them gone my choice is Jackson. Jackson had 6 touchdowns last season, but only 27 catches for 453 yards in 2006. Jackson's unique combination of size, and speed, plus the Chargers other weapons (LT and Gates) should leave him single covered and a prime target for Rivers in the red-zone. A prime sleeper candidate Jackson is an excellent #3 WR rounding out my starting position players.
8.04 88. FantasyFootballWhiz.Com Jones, Kevin DET RBMon Jul 16 11:38:53 p.m. ET 2007 125.8I have Kevin Jones ranked as the 22nd best running back on the board and getting him at the top of the 8th is a blessing, especially with the way that Martz utilizes the running back. Jones proved to be a solid receiver out of the backfield. My concern is his being able to stay healthy, but I will live with that being he is my 3RB in a league that starts two.
8.05 89. FFJungle.Com Glenn, Terry DAL WRTue Jul 17 12:40:45 a.m. ET 2007 0.0Although Glenn's better days are in the rear-view, I think he still has enough game left to produce adequate numbers as a number three receiver. As long as he stays healthy, he should produce 6-8 scores this season and approach the 1,000 yard mark for the third year in a row. The bonus is that I have paired him up with Tony Romo--each catch Glenn makes (assuming it is for positive yardage) will add points for Romo, too.

Cutler was very impressive last season throwing 2 touchdowns in 4 of 5 starts, and was completing 60% of his passes. With the addition of Travis Henry, Daniel Graham, and Brandon Stokley, Denvers offense will be very effective in 2007. Jay Cutler is one of my favorite sleeper picks, and I am very pleased to find him available at the end of the 9th round. The team was nice enough to go out and bring in some solid wide receivers, like Darrell Jackson, to utilize and let us not forget about Vernon Davis. I can easily see him hitting 3500+ passing yards and 20+ touchdowns. He may even get a rushing TD or two.

FantasyFootballWhiz.Com Jones, Matt JAC WRFri Jul 20 3:46:50 p.m. ET 2007 55.7Matt Jones is going into moving into his third season in the NFL and as most everyone knows that is the breakout season for wide receivers. He finished the 2006 season with 41 receptions for 643 yards and four touchdowns. Fourteen of those receptions were for 20+ yards, which distinquishs him as the home run threat for the Jaguars. This should be the season that he really gets things going with his solid hands and blazing speed.

13.09 153. FantasyFootballWhiz.Com Buccaneers, Tampa Bay TBB DefSun Jul 22 12:12:24 a.m. ET 2007 209.0I believe that we see a resurgence of the Buccaneers defense with the drafting of Gaines Adams to build up a defensive line that failed to get continuous pressure on the quarterback. Also, the return of Raheem Morris as the defensive backs coach will work to improve one of the worst seasons defensively of the Gruden era in Tampa Bay. I see this unit becoming one of the best again in the NFL in 2007.
13.10 154. FFToolbox.com Panthers, Carolina CAR DefSun Jul 22 8:30:13 a.m. ET 2007 164.0The Carolina Panthers coming into last season were a Super Bowl favorite, with an elite defensive unit. The injury to MLB Dan Morgan crippled the enitire defense, and the entire unit struggled. As long as Morgan can stay on the field, I expect this defense filled with playmakers Ken Lucas, Richard Marshall, and Chris Gamble in the secondary; and Julius Peppers, and Kris Jenkins on the defensive line to rebound in 2007. The addition of rookie LB Jon Beason is also a plus.

Hester has the unique ability to break a run anytime he touches the football making him an excellent player to take a shot on late in my draft. Anybody remember the last special teams ace that turned into a impact reciever? His name was Steve Smith; Devin Hester has alot in common.

Yes, rumor is circulating that Marc Bulger may hold out, but if he does or does not means that Wilkins will get his fair share of field goal attempts. He was second in the league in 50+ yard field goals made and was 100% accurate. Also, he was number one in the league in field goal attempts with 37. Got to love the possibilities that he brings to the table and have finally brought my starting lineup to full circle.

Yes, I know that currently Jamal Lewis is the starter in Cleveland. However, Harrison has done a considerable amount of work to get himself ready to compete this season with bulking up his lower body and working hard to learn the blocking schemes. Let us not forget that this kid put up a 6.2 ypc in last preseason and averaged 5.8 ypc at Washington State.
16.05 185. FFJungle.Com Thomas, Anthony BUF RBTue Jul 24 11:57:04 p.m. ET 2007 24.4The "A-Train" was respectable when replacing Willis McGahee last year. This year, he is in a training-camp battle with Marshawn Lynch for the starting spot in Buffalo's backfield. Although most pundits have handed the job to Lynch at this point, that thinking may be premature--how often have we seen highly-touted rookies not secure a starting spot immediately when an adequate vetran is on the roster to teach them the ropes (Joseph Addai and Laurence Maroney come to mind last season) and provide experience at the position to start the season. Even if Lynch starts from day one, he has a history of injury--it's a safe bet that Thomas will start at least one or two games this year, maybe more. I just wish his bye week wasn't the same as Willie Parker's.

17.08 200. FFJungle.Com Holmes, Priest KCC RBWed Jul 25 3:32:53 p.m. ET 2007 17.4The news that Holmes has been medically cleared and will attempt to play this season changed my strategy at this pick. With Larry Johnson threatening a long holdout, Holmes may have some minor value. I fully expect LJ to return before the first regular season game; however, Holmes is a low-risk pick at this stage of the draft. If he is healthy, and LJ either extends his holdout into the season or is injured during the season, Holmes would be a solid replacement. He won't even sniff the 2,000 total yards and 27 touchdowns he has produced in the past, but he can still be an effective third or fourth back on a roster if given playing time. If not, I will cut him for a waiver-wire selection at some point.
17.09 201. FantasyFootballWhiz.Com Olsen, Greg CHI TEWed Jul 25 6:57:07 p.m. ET 2007 53.1The question here is will Greg Olsen, being the Bears first round selection, be the new receiving tight end for Mr. Rex Grossman. I honestly hope so, because he has all the talent in the world and Grossman does enjoy throwing to his tight end quite often, especially when he is in trouble.
17.10 202. FFToolbox.com Pollard, Marcus SEA TEWed Jul 25 8:55:09 p.m. ET 2007 39.3Pollard has fallen off the fantasy radar ever since leaving the Indianapolis Colts in 2005. Seattle has a history of involving their tight ends in the passing game, and with Darrell Jackson's 63 catches, 956 yards and 10 TD's now missing Pollard may play a large role in the Seahawks offense in 2007.
17.11 203. WalterFootball.Com Falcons, Atlanta ATL DefWed Jul 25 9:06:27 p.m. ET 2007 135.0The Falcons have a top-10 defense. I need a backup defense to play when the Patriots go against the likes of Indy, San Diego, etc. Atlanta is very schedule-friendly for me.

18.01 205. JunkyardJake.Com Stovall, Maurice TBB WRThu Jul 26 4:40:53 a.m. ET 2007 14.6I know it's all about backup kickers, but I figured Stovall maybe worth a shot. Michael Clayton may finally rediscover his rookie season form, but odds are it could be Stovall that becomes the viable #2 receiver in Tampa's offense. He's just as slow as Clayton, but a much better redzone target, and pretty good after the catch.

18.03 207. FFToolbox.com Mare, Olindo NOS PKThu Jul 26 9:06:16 a.m. ET 2007 68.0Mare moves into to one of the NFL's most explosive offenses, and is now going to be kicking inside the SuperDome. Everything he needs for scoring chances, but I'm hoping he can rebound from his worst season in terms of accuracy (29th in the NFL in 2006).
18.04 208. FantasyFootballWhiz.Com Baskett, Hank PHI WRThu Jul 26 12:57:51 p.m. ET 2007 20.2I know that the Eagles signed Kevin Curtis to play opposite of Reggie Brown, but this owner believes that Hank Baskett is the better wide receiver of the two. He has solid hands and is able to do all the things that you would expect from a player at this level. Given the chance to compete, I believe that Baskett could easily take the starting gig away from Curtis.
18.05 209. FFJungle.Com Vikings, Minnesota MIN DefThu Jul 26 1:41:10 p.m. ET 2007 233.0I would have loved to grab another receiver at this pick, but there is little left that won't be available on the waiver wire. Minnesota's defense would probably have been available, too; however, I'm selecting them solely to be a bye-week replacement for Baltimore's D. Now I don't have to figure out who to cut when that time comes. On the other hand, Minnesota was a sturdy fantasy defense last season, so this pick may have additional value if I decide to start them based on a favorable matchup on a given week. In actuality, I doubt that will ever be the case, though.

18.08 212. FantasyIndex.Com Wolfe, Garrett CHI RBThu Jul 26 2:00:32 p.m. ET 2007 20.2As 18th-round fliers go, there are worse choices than Wolfe, the third-rounder who has a reasonable shot to beat out the other Adrian Peterson for the job backing up Cedric Benson (who's not exactly a proven commodity anyway). Plus he can stand next to Maurice Jones-Drew when my team is on the sidelines and make him look bigger.
