Championship Time

So, the Sharks were looking to capitalize on a great season but Rio did on their last season  KC had a good season but the Cowboys had a better season won't end theirs. Rio had never won a Championship yet and Trailer Park has won two. Do you remember the last game a player played was the Super Bowl and him and his team won Jerome Bettis. I think that will be what will occur here in the OFL and Rio deserves it. Too bad he wouldn't stay but it is okay he has a Championship to win.

Tiolet Bowl the third time the Aces and the Eagles met and they split 1-1 I don't know who will win who will lose this time each of them want to loose but you can't tell what will happen.

Playoffs: Round 2

Rio in their fareware tour took on the #1 seed Sharks to see who would go on to the Championship game.  The tour continues as the Thunderbolts pound the #1 seed.  In an interview after the game, GM of the Sharks said that they do not like being a #1 or #2 seed in the playoffs as they always lose!  The GM went on to say, "Good luck to Rio as they end their farewell tour."  After the #1 seed fell, would the #2 seed Cowboys fall as well?  Nope, they lasso up them Trains and pulled them off the tracks!  Our Championship game will feature Rio vs Trailer Park.  Can Rio end their farewell tour with a Championship or will Trailer Park become the 2nd team in OFL History to be a 3 time Champion?

In the Toilet Bowl Playoffs, the #1 seed, DA CHAMPS,  will not be receiving another trophy as Four Aces take the victory.  In the other matchup, the #2 seed Panthers faced the American Eagles.  The Panthers will not be receiving a trophy either as the Eagles get the win.  For the Toilet Bowl, the defending champs of this title, Four Aces, will get a chance to repeat!  It's son vs father for the Trophy.  The question is:  Who will turn in the worst lineup?

It is interesting that we have a Father-in-law vs Son-in-law and a Son vs Father for our Championship games.  Good luck to all.

This will be the last week for FA pickups.  There is no Thursday night game and Saturday's night game is at 7:15 so FA is back to normal meaning 1st round ends on Friday at 5pm and 2nd round ends on Saturday at 5pm.

Merry Christmas and have a great New Year!

Playoff First Round

We will start with the Central Division Champs KC Frieght Trians and the Wildcard Wildcats KC is still alive and will play Miami. In the other 1st round Playoffs Rio will not end their franchise just yet as they beat the Carolina Waverunners 93-59, Rio will play the Trailer Park Cowboys in the Semi-Finals. The Toilet Bowl, well the Four Aces get clobbered by South Washington, SW wishes they wish were in they playoffs with them pionts (136) I think that might be a season high for them so Four Aces will move on and play the what used to be Da Champs. Eagles loose to the Mules and will go up against the Oregon Panthers. If any one I think Oregon or the Aces will win I mean loose the toilet bowl.

Thanks James for your write up last week and this week.  You wrote this before I could change the brackets.  The #1 seed plays the lowest seeded team so Rio will come to Miami.  There is a Thursday night game and a Saturday night game.  FA ends on Thursday and Friday this week.

I find the poll question very interesting but there is no way a Toilet Bowl player could deserve the third pick for not being in the top six.  Also, I wouldn't say the Toilet Bowl is for nothing as the winner does get a very nice Trophy.  Maybe it should be a requirement that Toilet Bowl players must start a lineup that they would if they were in the playoffs, example no bye players, bench players or hurt players in the lineups so we could truly crown the real Toilet Bowl champ but then again it is a real nice trophy.

The Playoffs
Well congradulations to The Miami Sharks and the Trailer Park Cowboys on getting a first round bye. The KC Frieght Trians looking to capitalize on their division championship but he has beat the tough opponent Wildcard Wildcats. Two wildcard teams play in the other playoff matchup on thier farwell  tour the Rio Thunderbolts will play The Carolina Waverunners. In the Toilet Bowl two teams that had their playoff hopes crushed last week and now head to the Toilet Bowl Playoffs. In the First round we have Last Years Toilet Bowl Championship the Defending Toilet Bowl Champions Four Aces v.s South Washington Sentinals. In the other Round 1 game the Old Mac Mules and the American Eagles (the rookies). Oregon and Da Champs have a bye. Well its been a great regular season but this is were its Chaos.

Week 13

Ok as the season comes to a close it's going to be EXCITING!  Let's review the games, DA CHAMPS are against the wall.  In a must win game against the Four Aces, DA Champs come up short!  They are heading to the Toilet Bowl.  American Eagles get Adrian Peterson back and squeak out a win against the Freight Trains and keep their playoff hopes alive.  KC wins the division.  South Washington wasn't too concerned about Miami being invited into the 2007 National Playoffs as they pull off the UPSET and keep their playoff hopes alive.  Missouri escapes with a win over Old Mac and the Mules are now headed to the Toilet Bowl.  Trailer Park holds off the feisty Panthers and capture the division title.  Rio on their farewell tour got soaked by the waverunners.  Both teams are still in the playoff hunt.

Remember that Thursday night the Bears/Redskins game so players that you want to start from that game need to be posted by gametime.  Also FA for Friday ends at 6pm on Thursday and Saturday's FA ends at 5pm on Friday.

Central Division
Aces fall to the mighty Eagles makes the next week game big with the Eagles and the tough opponent the Freight Trains. If the Trains win the will win the division if the Eagles win they could be lucky and either get the division title or at least a wild card spot,  but to do that they will have to finish strong! LET THE FUN BEGIN!

Week 12
Reggie is having surgery tomorrow so I'm pressed for time. Anybody wanting to write about the games is welcomed to do so. Miami has clinched the division. Look's like with 2 games to go that everyone still has a shot? Remember that Friday's FA ends at 6pm on Thursday and Saturday's FA ends at 5pm on Friday. Also, Dallas & Green Bay play Thursday night so don't forget your lineups.

Week 11
Three weeks remain and they are all division games. So far everyone still has a chance to make the playoffs. Miami is officially in the playoffs. Let's review the games....Da Champs need to win to make the playoffs to defend their title while Rio is on their farewell tour. The tour rolls past Da Champs. The Eagles sink their claws into the Tigers. Old Mac upsets the Cowboys. The Freight Trains roll out 151 points against the Panthers. The Sharks wipe out the Waverunners. South Washington is make a late season run as they blast the Four Aces. Have a great Thanksgiving.

Week 10
I guess we had a major trade to end the trading season for this year! Four Aces got immediate help while American Eagles are built for the future. Let's get to the games....Da Champs with their backs against the wall took on the 8-1 Sharks and 30th ranked team in the nation. Due to a last minute lineup change, DA Champs get the win and keep their playoff hopes alive. Rio, in their farewell tour, has been hot lately but the Tigers seized the opportunity to gain ground on the division leader Sharks and rallied the team to beat the Thunder. KC with a 100% coaching effort wasn't enough to overcome the Mules. The Sentinles rallied the troops with the Remember the Vets cry and they blasted the Panthers. The Four Aces started the newly acquired Aced and got the win over Carolina. The Eagles with their new RB making them have Twin Guns could only spit and sputter against Drew-Jones and Westbrook as the Cowboys tame the Eagles. Remember that next Thursday is Thanksgiving day so Friday's FA ends on Wednesday Night and Saturday's FA ends on Friday. Also, any players that you want to start for the Thanksgiving games need to be in the lineup by kickoff of the first Thanksgiving game.

Week 9
Divisional play this week. Let's start with Da Champs....They are hurting! Guess what? Mr. Peterson put a whopping on them this week! Eagles beat Da Champs! Da Champs are still in the playoff hunt but they need to get some wins! The Freight Trains continue to be the Division leader as they roll past the Four Aces. In the Western Division, the Sharks hold off a late rally by the Tigers to leave the DEI Dome with a 6 point win. The Sentinels flexed their muscles as they shot down the Mules. In the Eastern Division, look out here come the Thunderbolts! They take down the division leader Cowboys! Oregon has been on a win streak but they get the stinker of the week award as they slip past the Waverunners by one. ***********Trading ends this Sunday at noon!**************

Week 8
Sorry for the delay, let's get to the games...Da Champs are struggling. Can they defend the title? Carolina runs wild over the Champs. UPSET!! I still don't believe it! Oregon beats Missouri. The Mules get on the winning track by beating the Eagles. The Cowboys continue to roll as they cruise past the Freight Trains. Miami squeezes by the Four Aces. Is Rio starting a Championship run on their farewell tour? Their offense is ALIVE as they beat South Washington.

Week 7
The season is half over and we have no winless teams and no undefeated teams. The Champs continue to try to get back into game form and this week that got a much needed win by taking down the Mules. Wow, what a game. Missouri hands the Trailer Park Cowboys their first loss of the season. Rio, in their farewell tour, just doesn't seem to have the MNF magic anymore. The Eagles get the win. In the Squeaker of the week: Four Aces makes it 3 straight as they get the 1 point victory over the Panthers. Isn't the Freight Trains made to roll over a Shark? Well, the Sharks derailed the Trains this week. In a close one, Carolina edges out South Washington.

Week 6
What's up with Da Champs? It's not looking good as Brother-in-law continues their lead on the division by taking care of the Tornadoes. Tony G had a big game as the Wildcats take out South Washington. The farewell tour is not going very well for Rio as Oregon pulls out another win. In a shoot out, the Sharks hold off the Mules. In Dad VS Son, the Dad teaches Son the ways of Fantasy Football. It was a tough call for the Son on which QB start and thanks to that, the Dad got the win. The Cowboys continue their win streak as the sink the Waverunners.

Week 5
Da Champs started out 0-2 and then won their next 2 while Oregon had yet to win a game, but come game day, the Panthers were HUNGRY!!! Ronnie Brown is the only thing going for the Dolphins and he helps the Panthers to upset Da Champs! Uncle vs Nephew! These family games always seem to bring out the best! In an UPSET, Four Aces get their first victory as well as they win against Missouri. Rio, in their farewell season, took on the Freight Trains. In an uphill battle, the Trains had the steam to get pass the Thunderbolts. The Waverunners are riding the waves as they continue to mold their team. Old Mac has been struggling with LT struggling so could they wipe out the Waverunners? Nope, Carolina wins again. Here is the All American Matchup: Sentinels vs Eagles. In a sure to be classic Rivarly, the Sentinels sneak out the win. In the game of the week as both teams were undefeated, Cowboys vs Sharks. Both teams were without their major stars, but the Cowboys had enough on the bench to beat the Sharks. Only one team remains undefeated and no teams are winless. After falling in the ranks last week by barely beating the Four Aces, the Cowboys should climb way back up for beating Miami.

Week 4
Da Champs started out 0-2, but could they became 2-2?? Yep, despite Harrison getting injured, they held off South Washington. In a wild one, the Wilcats derail the Freight Trains. I can't remember the last time Trailer Park scored this low, but they still get the win. In the Stinger, oh I mean, Stinker of the Week, Miami gets some MNF magic and gets past the Panthers. Rio still has the MNF magic as they hold off Old Mac. The Waverunners run past the Eagles.

Week 3
The Champs who were winless after two games faced another winless team, the Four Aces. One would win their first game. The Champs finally get it together as they sweep past the Four Aces. Missouri took on the undefeated Mules and in a close game, Vince Young helps the Wildcats get the victory. Rio and Carolina were close going into MNF but that's where Rio shines and once again they get the points necessary to beat Carolina. South Washington looking for their first win took on the undefeated Sharks and put a fight. In a close one, the Sharks escape with a win. In the Stinker of the week, the Eagles put on their best game of the season only to lose to the Freight Trains by one. In a shoot-out, the Cowboys gun down the Panthers.

Week 2
The Champs were looking to winning their first game, too bad the Cowboys had too much power for them and they fall to 0-2. The Thunderbolts breeze pass the Four Aces. The Mules held off the Panthers. The Freight Trains roll pass South Washington. The Sharks had the Eagles for lunch. The Stinker of the week goes to Carolina over the Tigers.
The National Rankings is hosting a NFL Pool Pickem with a trophy to be given to the Champ. You should have gotten an email about it and it is up to you if you want to enter.
