Additional League Rules Setup
PAYMENT AND FEES
--The Beer & Peanuts League entry fee is $30.  Payment must be received prior to the online draft.  Owners will be notified of the draft date as soon as it is determined.

ROSTERS
--Each roster will accomidate up to 14 players.  In addition, there are injured reserve spots available for any player under contract that is put on IR by his NFL team.
--Your starting lineup will consist of:  1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF.

DRAFT
--The draft will be done in a serpentine style (1-12 in the first and 12-1 in the second and so on).
--Your team will draft until your roster is full.

CONTRACT YEARS
--Each owner is allotted 20 Contract Years (CY's) to distribute amongst his drafted players.  It is up to the owner how many CY's to distribute overall.  Each contract must be at least 2 years and no more than 5 years.
--Any drafted player not assigned a CY will re-enter the following year's draft automatically.
--You may NOT assign CY's to free agent/waiver wire acquisitions.
--You may cut a player if he is assigned CY's but the CY's will still be counted against your total of 20.
--Each new year, 1 CY will be removed from each of the players you have under contract.
--If you trade for a player that is under contract, you must have room under your cap to absorb those CY's.
--You must provide CY information to the commissioner before the first game of the NFL season.  If your CY's aren't submitted, all players on your roster not under contract will re-enter the following year's draft.  NO EXCEPTIONS!

FREE AGENT PICKUPS/WAIVER WIRE
--You may also acquire players via the waiver wire.  You must not exceed your roster limit so, in most cases, you will have to drop a player to make room for the new one.
--Once you have dropped a player, he will remain on waivers for 24 hours to give owners an opportunity to put in a claim for that player.  If a claim isn't put in for the player, he will become a free-agent.  Free-agents may be acquired any time the waiver wire is active.
--Waiver wire priority is initially set by draft position.  The team with the last pick in the first round of the draft, has the first waiver priority.  Each successive waiver position is in reverse order of the draft (12=1, 11=2, 10=3, etc.).
--Waiver position is relinquished only when you request and are granted a waiver.  Subsequent waiver position will be determined by overall record/winning percentage/head-to-head/total points.

TRADES
--All trades must be accepted and approved by the commissioner.
--Trades involving CY's must be mathematically possible for each team.
--The trade deadline is the start of the first game on Thanksgiving Day.
