Our very first 5 time Champion is Bakersfield Bandits. The Bombers still have that little monkey hanging on his neck! The J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS are the new Pansy Bowl Champs! Mexico City got the points this week that they wanted last week to place 3rd. Congratulations to Sam for winning the NFL Pool Picks: Final Standings- 168 Sam, 164 Amy, 159 Dave, 153 Billy, Reger 149, Richard 145 and TMac 141.

The #1 seed Bombers faced the Cougars. Carson City just came off a victory from the Stingrays and were looking to get into the Title game, meanwhile, the Bombers were hoping to end the skid of falling out of the playoffs early. The Freight Trains rode Tiki Barber to 3 straight Championships, could his backup Brandon Jacobs do the same for the Bombers? He did get some points that helped the Bombers defeat the Cougars to advance to the Title game. The #2 seed Smugglers were hoping that they could also make the Title game but they faced the wiley Title game vetern of the Bandits. Rookie sensation Adrian Peterson just didn't bring it to the table this week and the Bandits walk away with the win. In the Championship game, Can the Bombers get the monkey off their back and finally win their 2nd title or will the Bandits become the first 5 time Champion and get one for the thumb? Carson City and Mexcio City will play for 3rd. In the Pansy Bowl, the #1 seed Omaha face the Turtles. The Turtles felt like they should not be here so they took down the J-E-T-S. JETS, JETS, JETS to get out of the Pansy Bowl. In the other game the #2 seed St. Louis faced their innerstate rival, KC Freight Trains. The Freight Trains had no stream as they get stream rolled by the Tigers. In the Pansy Bowl we have the Freight Trains vs Omaha. Interesting little tidbit, if the Freight Trains win the Pansy bowl then they would have won 5 straight Championships with the Pansy Bowl on one end, 3 Championship Titles in the middle and a Pansy Bowl title on the other end! This will be the final week for FA. This is a game Saturday night, so FA ends as normal on Saturday at noon. I apologize to Sam and Amy for not keeping up with the NFL Picks so I'm going to rely on Dave to give me their running total. Good Luck to all. Also if you have your homepage designed the way you want, then you will want to add home page message #9. Merry Christmas and have a great New Year. |

Miami and Carson City locked up for the 3rd time this season. Miami swept the regular season but it is difficult to beat a team 3 times in a season. It's still true. Carson City advances to face the Bombers. The Bandits faced an old classmate in the Hillbillies and the Bandits were just too much for the Hillbillies to handle. The Bandits will face the Smugglers. In the Pansy Bowl, Tempe didn't have enough Turtle power to get past the Kamikazes and they will face the Omaha next week. The three time champ found it hard in the Pansy Bowl as the Badgers sent them on to face the Tigers. Remember there is a Thursday night game as well as a Saturday night game. Good Luck to all. Tom got eliminated in the National Playoffs but ended up in 14th place.

Ok, thanks for the ice storm now bring me back my power!!!!!! Just wanted to say this about Week 14 that Tom set a new record for most points scored in a single game of 190 and our game once again had the second highest combined points in a game. I'm home with POWER!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, Tom advanced in the National Playoffs while Kent and I came home!

Ok, the playoff race is tight so let's review last week's games. As always we will start with the Champs. They are the only 3 peaters and they were trying for a fourth straight title, but this season has been a nightmare. The nightmare continues as the Turtles punch the Freight Trains ticket to the Pansy Bowl. We will crown a NEW CHAMPION this year. Mike, did win 4 straight championships if you included the Pansy Bowl Trophy! The OC Hillbillies continue to impress as they shook off that Mexico will be attending the 2007 National Playoffs and beat them! Boston needed a win against the Bombers to keep their playoff dreams going, but the Bombers didn't let that happen. Patriots are still in the hunt. Miami needed a win to keep their dreams of a division championship and a first round bye alive and they stopped the Cougars thanks to Favre getting hurt. Big game this win as the division title and a bye is on the line as the Bombers and Stingrays clash in the Game of the Week. Mexico will have a bye but his seed will be determined after this game. In the battle of Missouri, the Kamikazes take the title by beating St. Louis. Could the J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS get win number two? Nah, Bandits blitz them all day. In the NFL Pool, Sam continues to lead with 129 followed by Amy and Billy at 124, Dave 118, Reger 110, Foust 107 and Tmac 96. Remember there is a Thursday night game this week so FA ends at 6pm Thursday and players that you want to play in that game must be posted by game time. |

Reggie is having surgery tomorrow so if someone wants to write about the games then please do it. My only comment: OMAHA WINS!!! Mexico clinches the division and the Tigers head to the Pansy Bowl. Remember that FA ends on Thursday 6pm. Since I don't know if I will be back on Thursday, please send me an email or put in the comments section of your starting lineup submission that you want to start so & so if you get him. Dallas/Green Bay on Thursday so have your lineups in.

Only 3 games remain and they are all Divisional Games so the playoffs are in reach except for Omaha and KC Kamikazes. The Bandits have clinched their division and are the first team to reach the playoffs. Let's review the games...Omaha came to try to upset the Champs, but that didn't happen. The Champs playoff hopes are still alive. Boston got taken down by the Turtles. The Smugglers cruise past the Tigers. Miami makes a great Free Agent pickup but doesn't start him and the Hillbillies get the win. The Cougars put a whipping to the Kamikazes. The game of the week...another high scoring affair with the Bombers holding off the Bandits. Have a great Thanksgiving.

The Champs are against the wall and the streak may end. This week Baltimore make have gotten a little revenge as they won and didn't even have a kicker in the lineup! Miami rolled over the Tigers. Kamikazes got win number two as they upset the Turtles. Patriots keep the J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS winless. Omaha continues to set records (opps sorry headed the wrong way on those records). Bakersfield proves to be the better team from California as they top the Hillbillies. Smugglers tame the Cougars. Remember next Thursday is Thanksgiving so FA ends on Wednesday night. Lineups need to be turn in for players you want to start on Thanksgiving by gametime of the first game on Thanksgiving.

Divisional play this week and the games were exciting! Let's start with the Champs...You just don't count them out! They squeeze out a 3 point victory over the red hot Hillbillies. Could this be a sign of the Playoff run? The other Central Division game had the Smugglers-Turtles. Well about all we can say to that is that Mexico City now has the 3rd all time most points scored in a single game with 182. I guess you could add that they had Turtle Soup! In the Western Division, the Bandits took on the Tigers for the Division lead. Old high school graduates and long time friends, but in the end, the Bandits take command of the Division for now. In the other game, we knew or at least hoped that one team would finally get a win. The Kamikazes were the better plane as they down the J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS! Omaha is now tied for 5th all time with a worst start in RFL History. Hopefully they can end the streak and get a win. They also are the first team in the Pansy Bowl Tournament. In the Eastern Division, a score that was not counted earlier but was added allowed the Patriots to come from behind an beat the Cougars. Once again, just like their NFL counterpart! The scoring was the San Diego special teams score of the missed field goal. In the game of the week, Bombers vs Stingrays. This game lived up to the hype. Two new records were recorded. In a shoot-out and a late game comeback by the Stingrays, they get the win and Division lead. The new records: Baltimore is 2nd all time in most points scored in a loss, the game tied for 2nd all time with most combined points scored in a game. In the NFL Pool...Sam 89, Billy 88, Amy 87, Dave 82, Jeremy 75, Richard 73, Reger 71 and TMac 70. ********Trading ends this Sunday at noon!************

Sorry for the delay let's get to the games....the Defending Champs are on the ropes and this week they faced the Patriots. These Patriots may not be undefeated like the NFL team but they did beat the Champs? Will the real NFL Patriots do the same this coming weekend? The Champs are in last place in their division but if they continue like they have the past 3 years then look out as they may begin to start their championship run again. The Cougars showed the Tigers that the Cougars are the baddest cats around. The Hillbillies continue their impressive run as they leave the Kamikazes still winless. The Bandits continue to lead their division with a win over the Turtles. It is a close race in that division. Stingrays are calling foul to a trade! The Smugglers steal Brees from Miami's division rival, Cougars, and Brees finally plays a team that he can rip apart! Brees and Company get the win for the Smugglers. And the game that was a record breaker! Baltimore now has the 4th highest score in league history and the number one spot with the largest margin of victory of 130. The Bombers totally bombed the J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS. So I leave you with this thought: Omaha, are you ready to stop being the farm team for the Bombers and have your own powerhouse team? In the NFL Pool...Sam 80, Billy & Amy 78, Dave 73, Jeremy 67, Richard 64, Reger 63 and TMac 62.

We are now half way through the season and we have two winless teams remaining. If they both lose this upcoming week, then they meet in week 9 with one of them surely getting a win! Also, check the history site as several records were made in week 6 & 7. Ok now to the games, well the Champs are struggling this week but the good news is only the Smugglers are running away with the division. Also, I do believe that the Champs in the past didn't have the best record entering the playoffs but got the wins when needed. This week the Cougars hold them off for the win. In a classic shoot out, the Stingrays take down the Bandits. The Tigers were hoping to take the division lead but the red hot Hillbillies shot them down. So close, yet so far as the J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS come up 5 points short of their first win. The Kamikazes continue their downfall as the Patriots blast them out of the sky. In the Battle of the Titans, the Bombers bomb the Smugglers. We have a Survivor Champ: Jeremy. In the NFL Pool, Sam continues to lead with 69 then Billy 67, Amy 66, Dave 63, Jeremy 59, Richard 56, Reger 56, TMac 53.

Wow, two teams at 0-6 and three teams at 5-1. Divisional play this last week, let's review the games. Let's see the Champs do not have Tiki this year and LJ finally scored a TD, but not enough to stop the high power offense of the Smugglers lead by Mr. Peterson! The other KC team was looking for their first victory but it wasn't happening this week with their opponent being the Bandits. 0-6 start for Kamikazes you might say they are in a downward spin! Tempe, what happened??? Two weeks in a row you knock off the powerhouse teams of Baltimore and Miami and then a team from California plays you without some starters and they beat you? In the words of my youngest son, Josiah, Turtle SAUCE and that's exactly what them Hillbillies had! The Bombers bomb the skin out of the Cougars. What is it about teams that are 0-6 and having a mascot that deals with planes? Hmm, I don't know, but I do know the J-E-T-S. JETS, JETS, JETS stayed on the ground as the Tigers took over the control tower. The Stingrays sting the Patriots. In the NFL Pool: SAM 59, Billy 58, Amy 57, Dave 54, Jeremy 50, Richard 48, Reger 47, TMac 42.

Last week the Champs took care of their inner city rival, but this week they faced their inner state rival. Would the results be the same? NO!!!! The Tigers shock the Champs and claim their stake of King of Missouri! What is in the water? Last week, the Turtles knock off the unbeaten Bombers and this week they shell shock the Stingrays from the unbeaten ranks. No more unbeaten teams thanks to Turtle Power! In a classic match-up, the Cougars and Bandits took to the field. When the smoke cleared, the Bandits had taken care of the Cougars. The Hillbillies seem to have recharged themselves since moving to California. They take care of the Patriots. The Kamikazes must be saying when will the hurting stop as the Bombers wipe them out. The J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS get smoked by the Smugglers. We have two teams that are winless, Kamikazes and Omaha. Did you know, they both teams started out at 0-5 are in the top ten of worst starts to begin a season? I love that history report! In the NFL Pool, Billy continues to lead but not by much!! Billy 50, Sam & Amy 49, Dave 46, Jeremy 42, Reger 42 and Richard 40. Jeremy and Billy are the only remaining survivors!

The Champs played their inner city rival, the Kamikazes. This has been a rough season for the Kamikazes and after losing to St. Louis last week, they wanted to beat one team from Missouri and have City Bragging Rights. Well, sorry Kamikazes, the Champs are the kings of KC! The Miami Dolphins maybe 0-4 but the Miami Stingrays are 4-0 as they down their favorite rival, J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS!!!! Talk about some Turtle POWER!!!! They shell shock the Bombers. The Cougers, in the STINKER of the WEEK, slip past the Hillbillies. Whatca do there, JED?!!! What's the difference between a Bandit and a Smuggler? I don't know, but Mexico City take down Bakersfield. Boston gets the win over St. Louis. In the NFL Pool, Sam has 39 and Amy 38. Check the report for your standings. In the Survivor Pool, Amy, TMac and Reger have turned in their playbooks. It has been years in the making, but never done until now! Finally a program to do what I've been wanting to do for years. Yes, I guess I should have went to college for computers then maybe I could have written this program. Anyway, the League History is done, but not quite finished. All the years are now in the record books, so check it out. It's not finished because now I want some input from you. You don't have to do it this week, I just want it when this season is done so I can work on it. You don't have to do it if you don't want to either so the decision is up to you. I would like to hear from you about what you think about this league, your favorite memory, maybe your favorite matchup. Just anything you would like to share. I am going to compile it all and make a little history book. I hope to add pictures as well. I know some of my favorite moments. I guess my biggest disappointment in doing this is that the records were lost from the 97,98 seasons.

The Champs faced the mighty Turtles. This was an exciting game and the Stinker of the week. The Champs pull out a 2 point victory. The Bombers are 12-0 in the regular season against the Badgers, could they make it 13-0? Yes, they did. Just so the Badgers don't feel too bad, they do have one win against the Bombers and that's when it counts the most, the playoffs. Ok, now the Bombers feel bad! In the battle for Missouri, St. Louis take the Kamikazes to the woodshed! In a shoot-out, the Smugglers have more fire power as they hold off the Hillbillies. The Bandits smoke the J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS. The Stingrays have some Cougars for lunch. In the NFL Pool Amy has 31 and Sam 30. In the Survivor Pool Amy is still alive.

Wow, 3 teams from the East remain unbeaten, 3 teams from the West remain winless, all 4 teams from the Central are 1-1 and 2 teams have half a win. This week is divisional play so a win streak will end for one team, either the Cougars or the Stingrays. I'm picking this game as the game of the week....Bombers vs Badgers. Why? Can the Badgers end the streak? Baltimore is 12-0 in regular season meetings! I suck in the Survivor League as once again, the second week and I'm out!!!! You should have received an email from the National Rankings about a NFL Pickem Pool. The winner gets a trophy. It's up to you to enter or not. |

Ok guys sorry for no report this last week. I was going to do it Wednesday night and then I couldn't get on the internet. Anyway, just in case you didn't know I now work at Domino's at night. The plan is to write up something on Wednesday nights. Anybody who would like to write up the game summaries is more than welcomed to do so. We had a great rematch of last year's championship game and once again the Champ managed to get the win. The Patriots, were they videotaping the Smugglers, upset Mexico. If Mexico has any support to cheating, then please notify the Commissioner immediately! The Bombers bomb the Hillbillies. Miami downs the Kamikazes. The Cougars crush the Jets, say that again....J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS!!!! The Turtles tame the Tigers. Dave, I have misplaced the picks by Amy and Sam so tell me where they stand in the NFL Pool. In the Survivor Pool, all teams advanced. I hope you like the History pages. Check out the Game Center as it gives you tidbits on the matchups.
