| As I'm sitting here watching my receivers each score 2 TD's, I'm thinking we should do something for week 17 next year. Maybe something as little as making the entry $6.50 and playing week 17 for a free entry the following year.

| i wouldn't be opposed to this, but i feel like if we're giving out any sort of prize, it should be to the league champ for that season. of course, given that the sum total of the prize in this case is barely enough to cover a fast food lunch, it doesn't really matter. still, i'd rather raise the fee by fifty cents and have the league champ play free next season.

| OK, executive decision. We'll keep the fee at whatever it takes for the league entry fee for this year.
My reasoning is this, although I like both ideas and they both have value I can just see this escalating to a point where it would have a negative impact.
My suggestion is this. We do one more year as is, then we decide whether to just increase the league fee by a little and give out a year prize to the champ. I don't want a huge jump all at once but maybe a small increase. Then if we want to increase it again we can revisit it again each year.

Can I ask....what escalations and negative impacts do you see? I guess that is just a little on the vague side....
Many showed interest in doing one of the two ideas.... seems no one was against it.

| It was vague on purpose.
Truthfully the debates here wear me down.
And I agree I think both are very valid ideas.
I would like to see us get through another year as is just to see how everyone likes the whole process. Doing a rookie/FA draft is entirely different than a full draft. I also think another year allows all owners to be a lot more comfortable in the dynasty format.
I know raising the fee 50 cents is next to nothing but I did say that we'd be going with this basic fee setup for a bit. I think waiting until after next season is soon enough to visit a new fee structure.
