| I was just wondering why our pick is not up. Go Blue has been on the clock for nearly 13 hours and we are not up yet. It should just defer to us if they have not paid their dues yet and they have not made their selection in 12+ hours.

While I'm not the commish, I will answer that. It looks like Go Blue has flown the coop. He hadn't been on the 2006 for over 136 days and has never signed into the 2007 version. Because of this, Kirk will have to try to find another owner to take over before the draft can be continued. It wouldn't be fair to the new owner for him to miss this pick. I could be wrong, but this is my guess on this.

Maybe Kirk should have a deadline a couple of days before the draft then if that is the case. The orphaned team could then have a day or two to look at what he/she has and not just a couple of hours?

With over 70 or 80 leagues to commish, Kirk has a lot on his plate and it might be asking to much for him to check every league to make sure everyone has signed in. Which is why I tend to believe that he should have a co-commish in every league to help him out with these kinds of things. Someone to check these kinds of things and to put trades through etc. There has to be at least one person in every league who's reliable enough to do this.

Not sure every league needs a co-commish, but it looks like he sure could use some help. I would say the first couple of weeks of each season would be a bummer. However, with commissioner powers if he would put the deadline a couple days ahead he could make this type of thing a default.
