First Year! World League Championship!
Dos Corugels from River City will play Jakes Jackals from BRF NFFL for the title of World League Champion! Game will be played on the River City Dynasty League, using their scoring rules. Starters will be same as their respective league, meaning Corugels will start a Head Coach and Special Teams and Jackals will not. Consider it as the River City League has a designated hitter while BRF does not.
Jackals may make waiver moves, but must text or call and NOT use the BRF NFFL or River City Waivers.
All Teams from River City Dynasty and BRF NFFL Keeper can join the "Playoff League" that starts in Week 18 with the NFL Playoffs. Rules will be available at the site http://football11.myfantasyleague.com/2007/home/18601 League ID is #18601 If your regular password doesn't work use "playoff". You can change it once you log in!
Congratulations to Dos Corugels on their second Championship in 2 years! Last year taking home the BRF NFFL Championship Trophy! Jackpine Savage also had a solid season and team heading into 2008.

Okay - Here is what we are going to do - Owners must keep a minimum of 15 players for the 2007 Season. All players will have one (1) year contracts. Until the start of the season, there will be no penalty for dropping a player, so make any major changes to your roster before the season starts. We will combine the Rookie Auction and Free Agent Pickup into One e-mail auction as follows. All dropped players will be available immediately. You can DROP Players - Move them IR and/or Taxi Squad. Remember Players moved to the Taxi Squad automatically receive 3 year contracts. Some of you have Taxi Squad players from 2006 - which now have 2 year contracts. You cannot drop these players at this time. You must keep them. The Rookie/ Free Agent Draft will start Monday night at 7pm - It will be an auction draft with 24 hour proxy (eBay) bidding through the start of Week 2. You must have any Rookie/ Free Agent picks on the roster before Thursday at 7:30 if you want to start them in Week 1. The winning Auction Bid will be the Salary for the season. The Salary's are already set. The Salary cap will NOT increase for 2007. You must fit players in based on your current lineup and salaries. In order to bid, you will have to have salary cap room available, which may mean dropping players etc. The minimum Salary will increase from $5 to $8. If you have players signed for less than $8 the salary does not change unless they are dropped. We will try and get together, maybe for a Packer/ Viking game! I am sorry for my delay in getting the League going this year. Mike will keep me in line so we do it right next year! Questions - Post on message board or Call me.Commish

Temporarily, Minimum Roster size is 15 players and maximum is 24. Starting Week 2 - Minimum roster size is 18 Players and Maximum is 20. Remember, Taxi Squad players do not count against Roster or Salary, but Only ONE of these positions: QB, RB, WR, or K can be assigned to Taxi Squad at any one time. The intent is for it to be used for developing Future Star Players, although currently, any active player can be assigned. By next season, it will be limited to only Rookie and Players with very little or no active games played in Regular Season. The salary cap will allow you to go over the $325 limit- but you must be back under the cap by Week 2.

**Update** Auction draft will end with the start of the 1st NFL game in Week 2. The waiver/ drop penalty will be waived until the end of the Draft as well. Owners must have 18 players minimum/ 20 maximum w/ 1 IR & 2 Taxi Squad. Remember, although not enforced the past two years, the Taxi squad's main purpose is for Rookie's or Developing Players that have Potential. Ultimately, our long term goal is not to use it for Veteran players. This will be clarified and enforced for the 2008 Season. For 2007, we will run it as we did last year with NO restrictions on Players that can be signed to the Taxi Squad. All players, including free agents will have one (1) year contracts initially. Players moved to the Taxi Squad by Default receive a 3- year Contract. Once a player is Promoted to your Active Roster, he can not be Returned to the Taxi Squad. We will be assigning Contracts of 1 to 3 Years during the Season, within the month or so. I will post an update and more information closer to that time. The Penalty for Waiving players will be back to the default 50% Salary Cap Hit with the 1st game of week 2 (Cap Penalty stays with you for the 2007 Season.) Any winning Auction Bids will be the Salary for the season. I am looking into setting up a free agent "auction" waiver instead of the current "blind bidding" set-up. The program does not currently support this entirely, but I think it would be interesting.
