| Hi all, I did this in Otto and had some time this evening while watching the Iowa caucas results, so I figured I would post the salary increases for everyone to peruse. But first, here are the rules ripped straight from the rulebook. 9. Teams may keep their ENTIRE roster from year to year, although salaries will increase for players who meet certain statistical criteria based on the league's scoring system. Those players not meeting the standards set below will carry their current salary structure to the following season. RUSHING - Top RB - 20% increase / Average of #2 through #5 after their increases, whichever is greater #2 - #5 RB - $8 / 15% increase, whichever is greater #6 - #10 RB - $5 / 10% increase, whichever is greater RECEIVING - Top WR/TE - 20% increase / Average of #2 through #5 after their increases, whichever is greater #2 - #5 WR/TE - $5 / 15% increase, whichever is greater #6 - #10 WR- $3 / 10% increase, whichever is greater PASSING - Top QB - 20% increase / Average of #2 through #5 after their increases, whichever is greater #2 - #5 QB - $3 / 15% increase, whichever is greater KICKING - Top K - 20% increase / Average of #2 through #5 after their increases, whichever is greater #2 - #5 K - $2 / 15% increase, whichever is greater NFL TEAMS - Top DEF - 20% increase / Average of #2 through #5 after their increases, whichever is greater #2 - #5 DEF - $2 / 15% increase, whichever is greater Players earning between $1 and $10 that finish in the Top 5 in scoring the year they are playing for that contract will automatically receive a $25 raise for the following season. TEs earning between $1 and $5 that finish in the Top 2 in scoring the year they are playing for that contract will automatically receive a $10 raise for the following season. The results are based on weeks 1 through 16 production. Here are the calculations from my spreadsheet. QB Team 07 Salary Increase 08 Salary 1 Tom Brady Cats Attack $15.00 $3.00 $26.00 AVG of #2 thru #5 2 Tony Romo Sack Attack $15.00 $2.25 $18.00 $3 Increase 3 Peyton Manning Artificial Smurf $36.00 $5.40 $42.00 15% Increase 4 Derek Anderson BrownsROCK $15.00 $2.25 $18.00 $3 Increase 5 Ben Roethlisberger Brown DoCoMo $1.00 $0.15 $26.00 $25 Increase - Top 5 / Under $10 RB 1 Brian Westbrook Brown DoCoMo $42.00 $8.40 $51.00 20% Increase 2 Ladainian Tomlinson Big Dog Daddy $63.00 $9.45 $73.00 15% Increase 3 Joseph Addai Turf Toes $12.00 $1.80 $20.00 $8 Increase 4 Adrian Peterson Big Dog Daddy $15.00 $2.25 $23.00 $8 Increase 5 Maurice Drew-Jones Brown DoCoMo $26.00 $3.90 $34.00 $8 Increase 6 Clinton Portis No Prisoners $38.00 $3.80 $43.00 $5 Increase 7 Marion Barber Bitter Chocolate Bunnies $4.00 $0.40 $9.00 $5 Increase 8 Ernest Graham Cats Attack $3.00 $0.30 $8.00 $5 Increase 9 Jamal Lewis Artificial Smurf $29.00 $2.90 $34.00 $5 Increase 10 Willis McGahee Careless Navigators $42.00 $4.20 $47.00 $5 Increase WR 1 Randy Moss Turf Toes $18.00 $3.60 $31.00 AVG of #2 thru #5 2 Terrell Owens Artifical Smurf $24.00 $3.60 $29.00 $5 Increase 3 Reggie Wayne Brown DoCoMo $24.00 $3.60 $29.00 $5 Increase 4 Braylon Edwards BrownsROCK $7.00 $1.05 $32.00 $25 Increase - Top 5 / Under $10 5 T.J. | Did this change from last year? I thought salary increases were based on stats from weeks 1-12? When did this change? |

| Hi, It's always been weeks 1 through 16. Here it is copied straight from the Paul Brown Rules. 13. Postion rankings are based on performance during the Fantasy Football season (Weeks 1 through 16). Later, BCB |

| Last year the salaries were based on perfomances from week 1 to week 13. Here's the link to the message board posting http://football30.myfantasyleague.com/2006/mb/topic_show.pl?bid=200648451&tid=996566 I really don't care if it goes to week 16, just want to know if/why/when the rule changed. I don't remember a vote or any type of notification. |

| I'm copying and pasting that original message by the Commish cause it's due to be erased by MFL in February. "Tue Feb 13 2:36:39 p.m. CT 2007 We are posting all league draft orders on the GLFFL Discussion Board so owners have one-stop access to the information between now and the drafts, set to kick off in May. We ran into problems last year where guys couldn't access the draft order easily because of the upgrading that takes place with MFL software in late March/early April. The order can be found here -- http://glffl.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=411 If you haven't yet created an account on the GLFFL Discussion Board, take a minute to do that when you click the above link and you'll be able to see the info right away. Also, all Paul Brown League salaries have now been adjusted to reflect the raises earned by players placing in the Top 10 in scoring through the 12-week regular season. On April 15th, teams will have their first opportunity to attempt to cut players and resign them at reduced contracts in order to get within the 180 unit salary cap. In order to participate in the May Rookie Draft, teams must be in compliance with the 180 unit salary cap." I don't know why the change from weeks 1-12 to weeks 1-16. We'll need some Commish input on this one. |
