| His performance did put me to sleep early, which is why I missed the regular time for waivers. I'll get that taken care of right now. As for our ace, nope-- you'll see him tonight. I'd take Carmona over Sabathia any day.

| baseball is a funny game .... i watched the early part ..... what was it the 2nd? 3rd? inning, sabathia nearly struck out the side on 9 pitches ... fanned the first 2 on 6 pitches, then had crisp 0-2 before missing twice and fanning him on 2-2 ..... three whiffs on 11 pitches.... he looked totally dominant .... so i figured i'd settle in for a tight, taut pitching matchup with beckett also appearing to be in command .... next thing ya know, sabathia is walking guys left and right and game over .... oh well ..... |

| In all seriousness, can we please finish this waiver process . I have to have surgery tomorrow am at 9:30, and I'm already late checking back in. I'd really appreciate getting this stuff done on time, so that I can get on with my life, tenuous though it may be.Excuses don't cut it - I've got one that'll dwarf anything you can come up with. Let's get with the program. |

| Take your time now Kirk. The ambulance left witout me to go pick up somebaody else. I guess they got tired of waiting since 8 this am for something that was supposed to have gottten done 14 1/2 hrs ago. Don't want to put you out buddy, You really stink. |
