| Brady to Moss: Touchdown! We win! Oddly, the first Kevin Curtis TD from the fumble recovery in the end zone has been taken away, so maybe we won with the first Brady-to-Moss TD. Who the hell knows. In any event, I would like to congratulate the Ryans for making us sweat (and chill ... the flu, y'know). It was an exciting Krohn Bowl and you guys didn't deserve to win, but almost did anyway. I also would like to officially welcome Mike Visaya back into the DFL. My work is done. And I would like to commission on the trophy the likeness of ... geez, if you have to ask, then you haven't been paying attention. The best part of today ... Mike has had an official welcome to come back next year since prior to the beginning of this season -- from the rest of the DFL owners! What you should be posting for Mike is a sincere, honest, compassionate, heartfelt post apologizing for single-handly screwing him out of the league this year. A suitable penance for your underhanded behavior during the pre-season would be to spend a day picking up trash along Montlake Avenue. On a related note, I don't think I properly thanked you for extricating me from the fallout of the pre-season trash talking and wagering (with Mike) that I allowed myself to get drawn into. So thank you for that. |

| You just couldn't keep quiet, could you, Rob? For the record, the way the whole Visaya in-out thing was presented to me last August -- by you -- was so convoluted and rife with drama that my reaction of "Let's just have the draft on the day and time we had it scheduled all along" was simply my instinctive response to get you off the phone as quickly as possible. You never, ever presented it to me that Mike's place in the league was in jeopardy and, if I recall, said quite the opposite, suggesting that his co-owner would draft in his stead. So there, Visaya.
