Any comments...

I have one, if you are going to participate in this draft, please check it once in the morning, possibly at lunch, and then at night.
Is that asking too much :-(
On to the positive, I have Peyton, I have Peyton, I have Peyton

Believe it or not, we are ahead of the Great White Shark league!  But it is very slow going in the early rounds.  I've done this enough times that I don't question it any more, I just accept it.   ho hum...

I can certainly understand not being able to sit and watch the draft all day and night. And I am not a huge fan of predradting 10-12 picks ahead, but if you check in and you are 3 or 4 picks away, you should be able to predraft a few. Too many times you look at the last time soeone checked in and it was 2 or 3 picks before their own, then you don't see them for half a day. It just such for the people that do put the effort in to keep things moving.

I just don't understand what is so difficulot about being 4 picks away and coming up with 4 players you want?

Another thing, mentioning the names of players in your draft comments who have not been drafted is a Shark no no.  Personally, I could care less, but some people (Tony Holm, et al) don't like it.

If you're referring to my comments on pick 74 about "Moss", I should have said Randy Moss - that's who I was talking about.  He was picked 4 rounds earlier and I think my pick will have equal or better value.

Paul, any particular reason for that thinking? I have heard one or two other people say they like Dante better but other than Moss quiting on the team didn't have a logicalal reason why that would happen. Just curious.

Judging by WR numbers in the Patriots offense during the Brady/Belichick era, it's not common for them to have a true WR1/WR2.  Brady is one of the best at spreading the ball, so usually you get WR1/WR1A.  And even if Randy Moss does adjust his attitude (not a given, not by a long shot), he has never been the best route runner, tactician, or blocker.  All his best numbers came in the "throw it up to Randy" days.  Why would blocking or tactics affect his fantasy numbers?  Because Belichick and co. actually pay attention to that sort of thing.  I don't think Randy will be a flop, but I think his role will be just one of many important cogs in that offense.

You know I'm as big of a Brady fan as there is, but I think people make alot of the whole spreading the ball around. It's more of a matter of not having a WR that is could enough to command the ball that much by being in position to catch balls. He had no problem throwing the ball to Troy Brown 198 times over two years. I think having all the talent an options actually helps Moss rather than hurts him. He is physically the best (at least should be) WR on that team, and teams aren't going to be able to double him. I don't think h'll have a monster year, as they aren't going to force the ball to him o give him the Randy Ratio, but he should approach 1200 yards and 10+ Td's, which will be tough for Stallworth to match. This is muc like what they have in Indy, with Manning, Harrison and Wayne except I don't think stallworth is nearly as taleneted as Wayne.
