| Here is why the transaction in question is valid. At the draft, every team was left with an open roster spot. It was stated at the draft, and agreed on by all present, that filling this spot was not a waiver, no fee would be charged, and it could be used at any time. The transaction in question was completed before Sunday noon kickoff, so it abided by the rule that no changes can be made after kickoff. On weeks with an early game, it has always been the rule that only players involved in the early game are locked, the player picked up was not involved in the Thursday game. Since it was not a waiver, and it was completed before kickoff of the Sunday games, the transaction is valid, and should be allowed to stand. Please read both posts, and the cast your vote in the poll area at the bottom of the web page. Thanks, Paul |
