This will be your last reminder to submit picks for the NFL Pool picks and Survivor picks games.  You can get to these games by clicking on the "My Team" tab on the home page.  The links will be the bottom two in the "My Options" section at the top left.  Remember that there are cash prizes for the winners of these this year....  $15 for the survivor game and $20 for the pool picks.

I'm pretty sure I posted rules for these somewhere already... I'll go look for them.

Here we go...

NFL Pool Picks:
For each week of the season, each owner selects the winner of each game.  In addition, a point value is assigned to add weight (confidence) to each pick.  During a non-bye NFL week, the 32 NFL teams will play in exactly 16 matchups.  As a result, each owner would place the value of "16" on the winner of the pro game in which they are most confident.  This process would be repeated down to the last matchup where they would place a value of "1" to represent their least confidence in the outcome.  At the end of the week all of the confidence scores for each correctly predicted matchup are totaled.

Survivor Picks:
In a survivor pool, each owner picks the winner of a single NFL matchup for the upcoming week of the season.  Owners that choose correctly are allowed to predict the winner of the following week, while owners that make an incorrect pick are eliminated from this contest for future weeks.  The catch is that each owner may only pick each NFL team once over the course of the entire season.  For example, if an owner chooses the New England Patriots in week 1, he/she cannot select them again.
