| An explanation is needed. I have not been paying attention to what is going on in the NFL the last few weeks as well as having some major computer issues. Tatum Bell was a bad choice to start. period. However, I was not aware of him not being active. As far as some of my other choices, my team stinks and I was trying to change a few things. What I do need to make clear is that I do not condone cheating or tanking. I am probably in too many leagues(10 on this site alone) for the time that I have to dedicate to being a owner and it is causing me to make mistakes in my other leagues as well. I truly apologize for the illusion of tanking and will accept whatever fate awaits me. I wish to continue in this league next season and hope my actions can be viewed for what they are. A mistake. |

| Truth be told Mark, it looks real bad. I don't want you removed from the league but in order to return, something will have to be done. Here are the issues I have with the lineup, particularly in light of the poor record and the appearance that you are going for a higher draft pick. Clemens 80.90 pts, 11.557 avg. over Manning (207.95 and 17.329 per)? Tatum Bell 30.50 pts and 6.100 avg. (and inactive since Week 5) over Maurice Jones-Drew (137.10 - 11.425 avg.) or new starter Adrian Peterson? Cotchery declared out early in the week over a starter last week-- Brandon Marshall (117.00 - 9.750 avg.)? I will need some time to think this over but I can see the end result being a loss of a 2008 first round pick. |
