| Eight (8) of the twelve teams in each conference will qualify for the playoffs. In Week 12, the 7th and 8th seeds will face off, as well as the 5th and 6th seeds. Teams seeded 1 through 4 in each conference will receive a bye during week #12 of the NFL season. The lowest advancing seed will play the 3rd seed while the other team to advance will play the 4th seed. Teams seeded 1 and 2 in each conference will receive a bye during week #13 of the NFL season.
