Looks right to me. Dammit. Except that if the outcome of my game with Giselle holds up, it'll be my squad in the dreaded 9th place spot based on overall points. Not that it matters.

I hearby put forth the motion that any fantasy team that has Moss or Owens can only play one receiver a week. Otherwise, it just AIN'T FAIR!

*Giselle Loves a Champion!:> I hearby put forth the motion that any fantasy team I have a couple of Superior teams with both Moss and Brady. Last night I overcame a 60 POINT lead by Big Dog's team and beat him by 30. Since I have the bye wrapped up, I am thinking of starting ONLY Brady and Moss (against the Igglets) and seeing how I make out. LOL. Actually, Big Dog was lucky he didn't play my other Sup team where I also have the Pats DT along with Maroney.

The only remote (and I mean, VERY remote) possibility of a change in outcome at this point appears to be if somehow Playaction gets 50pts out of Cutler and Young tomorrow night, which would seem to fall under the category of "not bloody likely." Mathematically, depending on how a couple of other players score in ongoing games, Oregon could miss the playoffs if they somehow lost their game tomorrow night. Of course, the only reason I bothered to think about that is that it would be my squad (assuming I top 109 pts) that would bump Oregon if by some miracle Playaction pulled 50pts out of their... hat... tomorrow night.

Wow Fast Fish coulda gone Stallworth but left the injured Crayton in. Will it cost him a playoff game? Smackdown suffered a mediocre performace by Addai and Romo however Ultimate Annihilator may be without a starting QB. It may very well come down to whether McNabb plays. If he sits SD probably wins if he plays then UA probably wins.

I did not submit because no player I wanted to start was playing on Thursday. The "auto-submit" feature is designed to prevent teams from not having a lineup...it should not be used to submit a PARTIAL lineup that I did not want submitted. It should be turned off until Sunday AM plz refer this the BOD FORUM for a ruling as it is outside the power of this function to chose a PARTIAL LINEUP for me.

Ouch tough one. I think the Commish should be willing to pull Crayton out.

Thanks to the Commish for the prompt fix The MFL "auto submit" is not an answer to the problem of owners who abandon their teams. It's a stop gap for the rare occasion when an active owner fails to submit for some unavoidable reason. To read about an "auto submit" that covers nearly all the bases, including players that are OUT, visit antsports.com Antsports uses a "value based system" that if an owner fails to submit, the BEST players are auto-submitted based on past performance...and if a player is OUT, he is skipped over for an active player. Now it cannot deal with "game time decisions" but no software can. These computer lineups are done 48 hrs prior to either Thursday or Sunday kickoff, giving owners who don't like the computer selections plenty of time to submit their own preferred lineup. MFL could surely offer as good, if not better, computer backup for absent owners...with the key word being ASBSENT. But up until now, all we get is this blanket function that was just demonstrated as being inadequate. It's something for off season work, if MFL is up to the challenge of improving their product and our game.

I agree with Fish on this and it is something that we have been struggling with for a couple of years. I think that with the number of teams the GLFFL now has in operation, we should have signifcant leverage to get something done to improve the means in which a reasonable line-up can be submitted in case of an unique situation coming up where an owner misses, or isn't required to submit, a line-up by a given time/date. This would NOT be a difficult software program to fix/develop with the algorithyms in place to check best options to start. Heck, I can just about figure what need to be written into the code right off the top of my head to improve to a level such as antsports is running. It's not rocket science and we should demand a fix for next season.
