WEEK 14 ROSTERS ARE SEALED, AND WILL BE USED AS THE BASE 10 FOR TEAMS TO CHOOSE THEIR THREE KEEPERS FROM FOR NEXT YEAR!
Here we are with the last week of the NFL regular season, and championship week in The Cash Zone. The Dark Force downed The Short Bus to advance to the Super Bowl in an 87-51 game where Shorty lost 3 players early to injury. The Happy Spappys also kept their Cinderella Story alive with a big win over the #1 seed Couch Kitties 74-55. The Spappys have now beat the #2 scorer and #1 scoring team in back to back weeks. So the Championship game will feature The Spappys at Dark Force Rising. In the battle for 3rd place, The Short Bus will face The Monday Night Couch Kitties in week 17.
Big Peter Trucking seized the 5th place money with a 72-59 win over Pat's Pats and Pat's Pats landed 6th place money along with 2nd total points money. In the consolation bracket, Off My Rocker downed The Hoovers 81-74 to move on to the heralded Toilet Bowl. In the second game of the consolation bracket, Hunter's Lil Hookers streak of luck continued as he made enough points to pull out the tie with The Hot Sacks, but The Sacks' kicker had more points giving The Hot one the edge & the win. Next week will feature The Hot Sacks and Off My Rocker. Right now there is $30 in the post-season trade kitty up for grabs in the Toilet Bowl with this week's trades to add. As our season comes down the final stretch, I know I'm not alone in feeling a little sad that there is not more football to be played. I really can't believe that we are this close to the finish. This is the time though to start thinking about next year. We all have great ideas during the season of things to change that inevitably get forgotten during the off-season. Please take the time to write some things that might need to be addressed next year in the message board so that we can refer back!
