(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 25, 2006) In a week 16 North Coast Fantasy Football League classic, *CONN-RAT beat a strong *Lethal Weapons team by a score of 128.90 to 90.65, silencing a partisan crowd of 73,742.

*CONN-RAT were led to their 38.25 point victory by a 23.20 point effort from Marvin Harrison, who beat the Texans defense for 112 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs. With this performance, Harrison was the number 1 ranked wide receiver for week 16. They also got help from a 20.20 point effort from Jeff Garcia, who got by the Cowboys defense for 238 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 43 rushing yards.

"We're happy we could pull this one out at the end," *CONN-RAT coach Brian Kolm said.

*Lethal Weapons were helped out in a losing cause by a 37.20 point effort from Steven Jackson, who beat the Redskins defense for 150 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 102 receiving yards. With this performance, Jackson was the number 2 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 16. They also got help from a 19.05 point effort from Carson Palmer, who got by the Broncos defense for 209 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 6 rushing yards.

"We'll just have to put this loss behind us," *Lethal Weapons coach Doug Frank said.

*Lethal Weapons drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 8 out of 10 other potential opponents in week 16.

This brings the record for *CONN-RAT to 11-4, and drops *Lethal Weapons to a record of 10-5.

They also got help from a 13.70 point effort from Chris Cooley, who got by the Rams defense for 77 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.

"This team has overcome a lot of adversity," Punishers coach Keith Kuratko said.

Redskins Renegade were helped out in a losing cause by a 20.60 point effort from Frank Gore, who snuck past the Cardinals defense for 51 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 35 receiving yards. They also got help from a 12.80 point effort from Brian Westbrook, who beat the Cowboys defense for 122 rushing yards in addition to 6 receiving yards.

"They've had our number all season," Redskins Renegade coach J.P. Dougherty said.

Adding salt to the wound, Redskins Renegade could have scored 82.25 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but J.P. Dougherty left key players like Jon Kitna and his corresponding 26.15 points on the bench.

This brings the record for Punishers to 9-6, and drops Redskins Renegade to a record of 7-9.
