guys im hoping we get a few owners to see this message
theres an owner who is attempting to make draft pick trades  and he has already made his 1 allowed trade in season .and what i feel about this issue is if an owner can make trades UP and not down in the draft than i feel thats an acceptable trade.so im thinking each owner gets 1 trade down per season but unlimited trades up ...
i know it sounds odd but the way i see it if 1 owner can trade with 5 different owners for better draft picks  than so be it but in doing so than those 5 owners presumably wouldnt be able to trade away future draft picks for a needed player in season ...in theory its not complicated  just need to think about how trades are going

team 1 trades gore and rd 10 pick to team 2 for next seasons rd 2 pick  and barlow .what that does is say team 2 cannot trade his rd 3 pick for any picks beyond that aka team 5`s rd 5 pick but he could in a sense trade trade a player and his rd 5 pick for team 5`s rd 2 pick...

understand what im getting at ...i have no problem with owners trying to improve his draftability in next season but but not trading away his future draft for a quick fix....

I don't care really, but tend to agree with Norman's proposal.

As for "...i have no problem with owners trying to improve his draftability in next season but but not trading away his future draft for a quick fix...."

This would mostly apply if someone knew they were only going to be in the league one more year and then get out.  That seems a little too farsighted for Fantasy Football.

And as George Allen (former coach of my beloved Redskins) said, "The future is now."

I think if your are going to have a rule about only trading draft picks once per season it should apply to all trades and picks reguardless of if it is trading up or down. Otherwise it gets too confusing.

i agree it gets confusing  and i dont wanna confuse people but i was looking for options and input because i do feel the problem would lie on the commish monitoring the trades more ..which i wouldnt mind doing if people  were all for things 1 way or the other
