| ROSTER CUT DOWN By March 1st each year, every team must cut their roster to 18 players. (No more/No less) Only one kicker and one defense can remain on each teams roster at this point. ROOKIE DRAFT MAY 5, 2007 A three round rookie draft will begin each on the first Saturday in May every year. A Draft Lottery will be held to determine Draft Order. (FOR BOTH ROOKIE AND STANDARD DRAFT - SAME ORDER) The league Champion will draft in the 12th position. Record /Total points will be the tiebreaker for draft position. FREE AGENT DRAFT AUGUST 13, 2007 - Message Board This has been changed slightly ... with the size of our rosters 18 + 3 rookie picks ... We should hold off on the final 4 picks until mid August so we all can see what is actually going on. I really feel it would be in our best interest to draft our final 4 spots after the NFL camps are in session. Holding this draft during the week wouldn't conflict with any of the normal drafts that we are all in. With it being so small we should finish easily during the first week. Feel free to post any thoughts below as this isn't set in stone and can be adjusted. I just feel that in waiting it may actually add value to what are minimal value picks. ORIGINALLY: A four round free agent draft will begin immediately after the rookie draft is finished. Any rookie not taken in the rookie draft is eligible in the free agent draft. |
