| flat out an amazing game wasn't it !!! gotta give undefeated NOW 13-0 Boise State all the credit for not NOT giving up !!! simply an amazing finish... gotta say that one ranks up there with the alltime great games to have watched !!! won't deny for one second i wished OU was on the other side of that 43-42 final started off putting ourselves in a big hole... that opening B.St. drive, great play-fake and the DB bit... WR got 10 or so yards behind the DB for 50 yd TD... then less than a minute later... fumble on OUr 9 that led to TD...14-0... think we turned it over 3 times in 1st half v. none for B.St... 21-10 halftime... then the int for the TD... 28-10.... but OU fought back.. amazing drive to tie it... and 2pt conversion... great INT for TD by OUr DB... i honestly thought we had it in the bag then at 35-28.... 25 unanswered points... but without a doubt... 17 seconds remaining....that 4th & 18 hook n lateral play executed perfectly by Boise State has got to be THE PLAY of the entire College Year IMHO !!! then to OT.... at least A.D.'s most likely last play for OU was that 25 yd TD run... but Boise St. still wasn't thru and pulled 2 more trick plays out... 4th down, qb in motion... snap directly to the back and TD lob... phenomonal gutsy call by Boise St. head coach going for the win on 2pt conversion and the play they called... great execution by them... absolutely a phenomonal game... at least one thing truly TRULY good ought to come out of it.... everyone now, especially those in the NCAA, ought to support a true playoff format !!! how can anyone say that 13-0 undefeated Boise State doesn't deserve a shot at the National Title !!! they annihilated Ore.State (that went on to beat USC)... obviously like i said... wOUld have much rather won the game.. but just can't be upset about that finish !!! talk about a YEAR to remember... start off losing starting QB Bomar & other starting O.L. ... then the OU-Oregon replay...losing AD to broken collar bone... looked like the season was over early... but the SOONERS prevailed...running the table in the Big 12... winning the sOUth... winning the BIG 12 Championship over nebraska... making BCS game and then playing in one of the most exciting games EVER btw... congrats on tex's win...(thought unranked iowa was gonna pull it off at first)... am sure most horns fans pulling for Boise St. last night  ... like the SWITZER said on the pregame....everyone OUtside of Oklahoma would be pulling for underdog BoiseState to prove that they belonged... but i was for Texas vs. Iowa... i for one am always ALWAYS for the BIG 12 vs. the world !!! and OUr conference went 3-5 this year.. great comeback by Texas Tech...almost looked like the Sooners would do the same but wow... still amazed at that one.... i taped it as i do alot of the big games... that will be the first LOSS i actually save though LOL

| I was hoping ou would win, am also a Big 12 supporter. But since they did lose and I just HAVE to rub it in!!!! Yes it was a great game, almost as good as the UT/USC game last year. I thought the game was over after the interception, but I'm glad I didn't turn off the TV. Boise State, Boise State, how can OU lose to BOISE STATE!!!!!!!!!

| guess all i can say is the rankings/BCS worked and knew what was doing on BoiseState unless maybe they should have been higher LOL 12-0 going into Fiesta & top 10.... 13-0 and will be higher now once final rankings come out... wow, what a year... i will be the first to say i laughed around mid-season at RUTGERS being in top 10... but they had a heck of a year and totally embarrassed unranked K-State in bowl game... maybe we are seeing PARITY coming into college football.... when was the last time that 3 programs like Wake Forest, Louisville, Boise State all in the BIGGER bowls than the 'big name schools"?... guess we simply gotta accept that the old days of only major name programs getting to the big bowls is basically gone... PRE-BCS would any bowl have taken any of those 3 over "bigger named programs" that didn't make the big bowls this year ? |
