| Must feel pretty good knowing that WVU needs help from real BCS teams if they ever want to play for a national championship...even if WVU were to manage an undefeated season against that brutal  schedule (that's only happened TWICE in over a century of fielding a football team in Morgantown, BTW) they still need the real BCS teams to lose a game or two before they'll even be remotely considered for a national championship game.If ANY two teams from the real BCS conferences goes undefeated then WVU's hopes of scamming their way into a title game becomes nothing more than a joke.  Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing WVU's scam schedule get them into the title game where they'll lose badly as usual...I'd bet that if this happens the real BCS conferences would drop the Big Easy from their ranks before the end of next year...they're tired of sharing that BIG money with pretenders

| if i recall correctly, the mountaineers have been in 2 REAL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES. Notre Dame and Florida. So if you subscribe to your college football belief..................then marshall has and never will be in the title contest. if the mountaineers need help........................why does marshall's whole identity revolve around the EEEERRRRSSSS! STEELERS SUCK:> if i recall correctly, the mountaineers have been Exactly...they scammed their way into those two games and were exposed as frauds in both of 'em...embarrrrrrrrrassssssssing!!!! I'd much rather root for a team that is realistic about where they stand in the football pecking order...Marshall and it's fans don't irrationally put themselves on the same level as real BCS schools...WVU and its fans do...they want to ignore the statistics, records, and schedules that confirm that WVU is a pretender, fake, fraud or whatever you want to call it, and keep spouting that they're a BCS school (not for much longer) with a chance to win a national championship. If you get your kicks out of suffering through humiliating losses so the rest of the country can laugh at the ruse that you bought into then you're the perfect fan for WVU. |

It probably really, really bothers you that after winning something like 8 NFL championships in Cleveland he couldn't bring the same level of play to Cincinatti...of course the Ben-GALs never had players like Otto Graham or Jim Brown so you couldn't really expect him to win in Cincinatti like he did in Cleveland It must really, really, really bother you that Cincinatti still to this day pays tribute to the Cleveland Browns every time they walk onto the field at PAUL BROWN STADIUM Cleveland fans always will have a soft spot for the step-children down in Cincinatti and we wish you well

| to be honest any team with a chance to win a national championship needs a little help from other bcs schools losing games. if you want to see the best team win the championship every year then they're gonna have to go to a playoff system and get rid of the BCS(Bull Crap Series). |

| guess we'kll just have to wait and see about that one wont we? and no i wont feel like a chump if that does happen. i guess beating georgia in the sugar bowl last year with a freshman qb and rb doesnt mean squat since they're from the SEC and that isnt a real bcs conference. |

Donkeys:> guess we'kll just have to wait and see about that Typical WVU fan response...just ignore that the MountainQueers have only won 2 of the last 11 bowl games they've played...ignore that they've been flat out humiliated in most of those bowl games...ignore the national consensus that WVU is a wannabe and nothing more...ignore that sports analysts and football fans in other areas of the country have to stifle their laughter when they hear you say "but WVU is a BCS school and belongs with the big boys"...keep up the good fight though...they did finally pull off a decent win last year but the problem is that you can count the decent wins they've had in the last decade on one hand. Only WVU fans can ignore all of that...with all the money that's involved in the BCS system, the real BCS schools don't ignore these facts. If WVU can hang with the big boys then why won't they schedule them in the regular season to prove it...because they CAN'T hang with the big boys and they know it...their whole strategy is to politically maintain BCS status so they can steal the BIG money, scam their way into BCS bowls by playing cupcake schedules while hoping that real BCS schools lose games to much tougher competition and then hoping that they get lucky every once in a while and win won of those bowls. So the real bottom line is that WVU's (and all Big Easy schools for that matter) sole purpose for playing football is to steal money from the big boys...the problem for you WVU fans is that the BIG BOYS are tired of it. Everyone knows that the Big Easy is a BASKETBALL conference first and foremost, they know that football was added as a source of revenue to support the needs of the BASKETBALL business, they know that football in the Big Easy never was and never will be consistently competitive with the BIG BOYs' level of play. Too bad WVU fans don't know much about what actually is happening in the real world...cling to your dream so it can be shattered very soon.

Marshall is on record as being FOR a playoff system at the 1A level. I wonder what conferences are most against the playoff system...yep, you probably guessed didn't ya...the Big Easy head honchos are adamantly against a playoff system...wonder why that is? hmmmmm? Could it be that they know they'd never be able to scam their way to a major bowl in a playoff system and thereby never get the big money that they can get by scamming the BCS system? You might not want to say it out loud but in your heart you just know that's the truth of it. |
