| it really never ceases to amaze me how porkies manages to make these kind of deals..... he trades an old, injured WR headed for the waiver wire in exchange for the #1 point scoring kicker in the league..... now i am 4-5 and while not mathematically out of the chase, lots of improbable events would need to occur for me to make the playoffs....so i figure i am out, hence my trade bait post..... porkies came to me with vinatieri in his sights and "glenn in hand" and i laughed and then laughed again......then i see "game-time decision glenn" dealt for gould and i just shake my head..... no draft pick (well of course not he ain't got any left.....maybe some for 2008?????) no prospect and possibly not even someone who can help immediately....just a standard porkies get something for nothing deal..... and, it was actually an illegal deal since knights for a few hours anyway until waivers hit had no kicker and each roster must be able to field a lineup at all times. anyway, i'm sure all you "HAVES" this season scratched your heads. i'm a "HAVE NOT" this season and i sure as hell scratched mine ![]() saturday update: Cowboy WR Terry Glenn (knee) left practice early FRIDAY after apparently aggravating his knee injury and is unlikely to play Sunday against Arizona....... i figure both owners knew this when agreeing to this "both sides benefit" swap ![]() |

| How is the trade looking now? I had the opportunity to get Glenn and passed because of the knee. Looks like you cannot believe everything you read. |
