Honolulu Sharks' New Home Will Be Complete In Weeks

 Honolulu, Hawaii - The brand new, state of the art facility that the Honolulu Sharks will call home in 2007 is almost completely finished. The stadium will be called Kamehameha Stadium, named for King Kamehameha II, who once ruled Hawaii with his wife, Queen Emma, but will be referred to as "The Shark Tank". The Shark tank is being built in the Honolulu Maritime Center in downtown Honolulu and will seat 68,000 screaming Shark fans. The Stadium will have a fully retractable roof that can open or close completely in under twenty minutes.

Kamehameha Stadium will feature the largest jumbotron Scoreboard in all of football and will also feature an underwater aquarium full of sharks, and other fish as well. There will also be a special section where you can get up close and personal with the Sharkettes, the Shark cheerleaders and have a time of meet and greet before and after each home game.

The second-year franchise looks to rebound from a dismal inagural season (3-11) and hopes to be much improved this year. With the #1 draft pick in his hip pocket, Johnathan Higgins, the GM, will be scouting the NFL combine and the college Pro Days as well as those players not protected by other owners, and vows to have a winning team this season.
