They also got help from a 21 point effort from Steve Smith, who beat the Falcons defense for 131 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD in addition to 7 rushing yards. "We feed off the energy of our fans," Blue Thunder coach Kiko said. Busdrivers were helped out in a losing cause by a 22 point effort from the Carolina Panthers Defensive Team. With this performance, the Panthers was the number 2 ranked defensive team for week 17. They also got help from a 16 point effort from Michael Bennett, who got by the Buccaneers defense for 82 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 23 receiving yards. "We'll just have to put this loss behind us," Busdrivers coach Aaron Oliver said. Compounding the issue, Busdrivers could have scored 97 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Aaron Oliver left key players like Eddie Kennison and his corresponding 19 points on the bench. They also got help from a 14 point effort from Willie Parker, who beat the Lions defense for 135 rushing yards in addition to 17 receiving yards. "We feed off the energy of our fans," Boyz coach Joseph Panozzo said. Motorboaters were helped out in a losing cause by a 21 point effort from Plaxico Burress, who beat the Raiders defense for 128 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD. With this performance, Burress was the number 3 ranked wide receiver for week 17. They also got help from a 14 point effort from Jay Feely, who snuck past the Raiders defense for 3 field goals made and 3 extra points. "We got a wake-up call," Motorboaters coach Sean Murphy said.
