League Scoring Rules Last Modified: Wed Apr 27 4:46:31 p.m. ET 2005

Dec 26, 2005 - The Battlefield Desperados outlast a tough Yellow Jacket squad to win the 2nd Topdog Championship game 146-133. Cal-Tech fell one game short in their bid to become the leagues only worst to first team. Richard Fouts took over a dismal 0-13 Villians team and made the playoffs with a 7-6 regular season mark.

Sept 12, 2005 - The 1st week of year #2 ends with the defending Champs taking it on the chin by losing to the Heap 150-131 in a rematch of the 2004 Championship game

August 6, 2005 - After 4 months of searching for the best owner for the still struggling Louisville franchise, Topdog Challenge has finally found one for the former Rage franchise. Daniel Todd will assume ownership of the Louisville franchise and will bring it home to Georgia. The league, in its attempt to only invite the most talented and active owners believe that Daniel will increase the competitveness of the Topdog Challenge. Daniel has plenty of experience and will be active in developing his team. In fact, the Beaverdale Volunteers have already made a trade with the Outback.

May 25, 2005 - The Louisville Rage...facing financial difficulty...give up the rights to the franchise. Interim Owner Tom Brevard reaffirms the leagues desire to keep the team in Louisville. The team unvailed a new uniform doing away with the Red, White and Blue flag helmet.

May 5, 2005 - Another beleaguered franchise will have a new owner for the 2005 season. Manuel Fraire has acquired rights to the Chatsworth team and will try to put the Killer back into the bees. Franchise relocation and nickname change are in the works.

May 2, 2005 - Debbie Thompson takes over the Horsemen Reigns and will attempt to turn the teams fortunes to the better. Thompson is a keen competitor and will be an asset to the league. The team name is yet to be determined and will be announced at a later date.

April 27, 2005 - Idahoan Jimmy Beckett has purchased the Georgia Bluecoats. The team will be based in Idaho and will be named the Lumberjacks.

April 22, 2005 - Richard Fouts takes over for Nelson Jimenez and will try to turn the winless Villains into a winning franchise. Fouts has moved the team to California and will be known as the Cal-Tech Yellow Jackets

Dec 27, 2004 - Bandits defeat the Heap in the first TopDog Championship game 186-169

Nov 15, 2004 - BluffCity Bandits become first franchise to clinch a playoff spot with a record of 9-1 through the first 10 weeks of play.

Oct 25, 2004 - First game decided by Tie Breaker; BlueCoats/RockStars tie at 136. BlueCoats win the tie breaker (24-5) over the RockStars

Oct 25, 2004 - Jax Raiders lose first game after reeling off 6 straight. Raiders are tied for first after 7 weeks with the Bandits and RockStars.

Oct 11, 2004 - After the 1st 5 weeks of play....Jax Raiders remains the only undefeated team at 5-0. The Raiders’ MVP so far after 5 games is D. Culpepper with 132 points.

Sept 20, 2004 - After the first 2 weeks of play....the Rage, Bluecoats, Rockstars and Raiders surger to 2-0 records.

Sept 12, 2004 - In the first ever week of games.....the Louisville rage defeat the FirstCoast FireBirds scoring a league high 221 points

July 25, 2004 - Danny Hall is awarded the rights to the Tampico franchise. The Inferno is relocated to Calhoun, Georgia and renamed the Georgia BlueCoats

July 20, 2004 - The fledgling league – in its quest to have only the most active owners – takes franchise rights away from Mr. Hernandez and Tampico Inferno.

July 1, 2004 - Dean Thompson wins the bid to assume ownership of the Cohutta Cherokees and promptly announces that the team will be moved from Cohutta to the Outback and renamed. (Outback Compost Heap)
