.Betts has torn ACL and MCL, will need su... (Rotoworld) Ladell Betts tore both his ACL and MCL during Sunday's loss to the Cowboys and will need surgery. Analysis: Betts' season is over, just as he was getting a chance to show what he could do with Clinton Portis (concussion) out. The Redskins will now be forced to turn to Rock Cartwright and Quinton Ganther as their primary runners behind a backup-level offensive line.49 minutes
.Pats reward special teamer with extensio... (Rotoworld) Patriots signed LB Eric Alexander to a one-year contract extension for what is believed to be $700,000 and a $125,000 signing bonus. Analysis: It's a reward for the core special teamer's solid play. The extension could push to $1.5 million, but Alexander would have to earn more defensive playing time to earn the incentives.53 minutes
.Bell steps in for Wolfe (Rotoworld) Kahlil Bell stepped in as Matt Forte's primary backup and rushed four times for 81 yards Sunday night. Analysis: Bell's first carry went for 72 yards, which was the Bears' longest running play since 1989. Bell was signed off the practice squad last week with Garrett Wolfe (kidney) sidelined. He's more of a bruiser and is not worth an add. If Forte went down, the Bears would be forced to go even more pass heavy.54 minutes
.Jackson not a red zone threat (Rotoworld) DeSean Jackson does not have a catch in the red zone this season. Analysis: D-Jax has five touchdown catches, but they're all on long plays. Donovan McNabb has struggled in the red zone and is now looking almost exclusively for Brent Celek and Jason Avant. Still, the lack of red zone production hasn't hurt Jackson as he makes big play after big play. He's a very nice WR2.1 hour
.Will Davis (RotoWire) Davis left Sunday's game in the fourth quarter due to a knee injury, the Cardinals' official site reports. Analysis: While he didn't reenter the game, Davis described the injury as a tweak and he said he's fine. That's good news since he seems to have climbed over Bertrand Berry to serve as Chike Okeafor's top backup at outside linebacker.1 hour
.Brown plays through hamstring (Rotoworld) Sheldon Brown tweaked his slightly torn hamstring during Sunday night's win over the Bears. Analysis: Brown had to convince the trainers he could play and then came up a little gimpy after chasing down a long run. He was going to only play in nickel situations, but when Asante Samuel left the game with a stinger Brown sprinted on to the field before the coaches could tell him not to. He'll miss more practice time this week but it's hard to see him sitting out against the Redskins.1 hour
.Steve Breaston (RotoWire) Breaston (right knee) had a quiet day on Sunday in large part because the Cardinals are using fewer three-receiver sets, the Arizona Republic reports. Analysis: The Cardinals' running game has improved markedly in recent weeks. After sputtering in Weeks 1-8, Arizona is averaging 162 rushing yards per game in its last three contests. An increased reliance on the ground game means more two-receiver sets for the Cardinals and fewer chances for Breaston (Arizona's third receiver) to make plays. With the Cardinals running the ball better and with No. 2 receiver Anquan Boldin finally healthy, Breaston could play a smaller role for the rest of the season.1 hour
.Samuel's stinger confirmed (Rotoworld) Asante Samuel confirmed that he suffered a stinger during Sunday night's win over the Bears and he will have a precautionary MRI on Monday. Analysis: Samuel offered no prognosis on his status for Week 12. Both Eagles corners are banged up but the secondary should hold up fine against the Redskins' weak passing game next week.1 hour
.Matt Leinart (RotoWire) While Leinart's teammate Kurt Warner (head) expects to play in Week 12, Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic isn't so sure. Analysis: Somers writes that he might err on the side of caution and keep Warner out a week, especially since the Cardinals have a three-game lead in the NFC West. This is pure speculation at this point. Warner will be evaluated by the Cardinals' medical staff and his Week 12 status should become clearer throughout the week. If Warner doesn't play, Leinart will be an interesting Week 12 option since the Cardinals have a high-powered offense that is averaging 25.0 points per game. Many observers are criticizing Leinart's Week 11 performance,... (More)1 hour
.Kurt Warner (RotoWire) While Warner (head) expects to play in Week 12, Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic isn't so sure. Analysis: Somers writes that he might err on the side of caution and keep Warner out a week, especially since the Cardinals have a three-game lead in the NFC West. This is pure speculation at this point. Warner will be evaluated by the Cardinals' medical staff and his Week 12 status should become clearer throughout the week.1 hour
.Bertrand Berry (RotoWire) Berry started his fourth game of the season on Sunday, but Will Davis seems to have surpassed him for playing time in some key situations, the Cardinals' official site reports. Analysis: Davis has two sacks in his last three games and he has a lot more upside than the 34-year-old Berry. With Chike Okeafor (back) hoping to return in Week 12, Berry may fall to third on the Cardinals' depth chart.1 hour
.Will Davis (RotoWire) Davis seems to have surpassed Bertrand Berry for playing time in some key situations, the Cardinals' official site reports. Analysis: Davis is steadily improving and he has a lot more upside than the 34-year-old Berry. Starter Chike Okeafor (back) has a good chance to return in Week 12. Davis, not Berry, may serve as his top backup.1 hour
.Paul Posluszny (RotoWire) Posluszny had 12 total tackles and a forced fumble in Sunday's loss to the Jaguars. Analysis: Poz hasn't had less than nine tackles in any of the five games since he returned from a broken arm. He should be a mainstay in your lineup in tackle-oriented leagues.1 hour

He will be evaluated during the week to determine his status for Week 12. Warner will undergo neurological tests this week. Warner said, "We were smart with it; we didn't take any chances. 30.Knox held to two catches, 16 yards in lo... (Rotoworld) Johnny Knox was held to two catches for 16 yards in Week 11. Analysis: Knox had his defender beat by at least three steps late in the fourth quarter, but QB Jay Cutler sailed a sure 70-yard touchdown pass a few feet out of his reach. Cutler struggled with the deep ball all night and most of the Bears' wideouts suffered. Hopefully the passing game can find a rhythm before Chicago's Week 12 matchup with the Vikings.9 hours
.Vikings | Peterson one yard shy of 1,000 for the season (KFFL) Sean Jensen, of the Pioneer Press, reports Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson finished Week 11 with 82 rushing yards, leaving him with 999 rushing yards on the season. Peterson went over the 1,000-yard mark in the third quarter, but he lost two yards in the fourth quarter. 9 hours
.Avant finds end zone in Week 11 win (Rotoworld) Jason Avant had four catches for 26 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles' Week 11 defeat of the Bears. Analysis: Avant scored the game's first touchdown on a 13-yard wide receiver screen near the end of the first quarter. But he remains a fourth or fifth option in the Eagles' passing game and isn't likely to top his impressive Week 10 numbers (eight catches, 156 yards) again this season.9 hours
.Redskins | Betts likely tore his MCL Week 11 (KFFL) Updating a previous item, Jason Reid, of The Washington Post, reports Washington Redskins RB Ladell Betts (knee) suffered a torn MCL "for sure," according to head coach Jim Zorn. Zorn added he doesn't know how severe the injury is. Betts will undergo an MRI exam Monday, Nov. 23. Betts did not want to speculate about possibly missing the team's last six games. Betts added, "I can't even feel anything right now, I don't have any pain, so I'll just get the MRI in the morning, see what damage is done and go from there." 9 hours
.Hester limited to 18 yards in Week 11 lo... (Rotoworld) Devin Hester was limited to 18 yards on four catches in Week 11. Analysis: Hester had trouble breaking free after the catch against the Eagles' swarming defense. And with QB Jay Cutler struggling to throw an accurate over-the-top ball, it was a lost week for most of the Bears' wideouts. Hester should have an easier time getting open next week against the Vikings.9 hours
.Bears TE Davis scores TD in Week 11 loss (Rotoworld) Kellen Davis caught two passes for 17 yards and a touchdown in Week 11. Analysis: Davis was able to break free late in the third quarter for a 15-yard over-the-shoulder touchdown catch. It was only his ninth catch of the season, though, and he remains a rare target in the Chicago offesne.9 hours
.Redskins | Betts may have torn ACL (KFFL) Updating an ongoing story, 106.7 The Fan wrote on their Twitter page that Washington Redskins RB Ladell Betts (knee) has torn at least his MCL in his left knee. Betts may have also torn his ACL, but the team will know more Monday, Nov. 23. 9 hours
.Celek held out of end zone in Week 11 wi... (Rotoworld) Brent Celek caught four passes for 35 yards in Week 11. Analysis: Celek had scored a touchdown in three consecutive weeks, but failed to find pay dirt Sunday night against the Bears. For what it's worth, he was targeted in the end zone on an overthrown ball in the first quarter. Keep him on board as a reliable TE1 as the NFL season carries into Week 12.9 hours
.Olsen catches six passes in Week 11 loss (Rotoworld) Greg Olsen caught six passes for 42 yards against the Eagles in Week 11. Analysis: Olsen again served as QB Jay Cutler's go-to target in the second half, and especially on the Bears' final drive. But he was overthrown in some instances and underthrown on Chicago's last offensive play, resulting in a game-ending interception. Olsen's value is reliant on Cutler's confidence, which, right now, is pretty low. The Bears face the Vikings in Week 12.9 hours
.Maclin catches six balls in Week 11 win (Rotoworld) Jeremy Maclin caught six passes for 64 yards in Week 11. Analysis: Maclin also caught six passes last week and continues to develop chemistry with QB Donovan McNabb. He's officially been taken off kick return duties and appears poised for a few monster weeks before the 2009 season is through. Maclin has only topped 100 yards once this year.9 hours
.Bennett snags five passes in Week 11 los... (Rotoworld) Earl Bennett caught five passes for 57 yards in Week 11. Analysis: Bennett has had only one truly productive week this season and doesn't appear destined for another one. The Bears are heading to a pass-friendly Minnesota in Week 12, but Bennett still isn't much of a fantasy option.9 hours
.Harris likely done for year with ACL diagnosis (FFChamps) Green Bay Packers' cornerback Al Harris left during the second half of Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers with a left knee injury. According to his agent, the initial diagnosis (from team doctor Patrick McKenzie) was a torn ACL ligament, which would most likely end Harris' season. Analysis: Cornerback Tramon Williams replaced Harris in the Packers' base defense today, and will most likely draw the starting nod opposite Charles Woodson in Week 12 and beyond. Rookie c... 42.Jackson racks up 107 yards in Week 11 (Rotoworld) DeSean Jackson caught eight passes for 107 yards and a touchdown and ran once for 10 yards in the Eagles' Week 11 win over the Bears. Analysis: Jackson broke free down the middle, past two Bears defenders, for a 48-yard touchdown in the third quarter. He did lose a fumble, but once again showed top-notch speed and remains a quality WR2 play in any league. The Bears face a 21st-ranked Vikings secondary in Week 12.10 hours
.Forte held to 34 rushing yards in SNF lo... (Rotoworld) Matt Forte was held to 34 yards on 14 carries and 20 yards on four catches in Week 11 against the Eagles. Analysis: Forte once again had trouble getting out of the backfield. His longest run went for just eight yards and he was overshadowed by Kahlil Bell, who scampered for 72 yards in the first quarter on his first professional carry. Forte has been held under 45 yards rushing the past four weeks.10 hours
.Report: Early signs for Big Ben 'encoura... (Rotoworld) A league source tells Profootballtalk.com that the early signs for Ben Roethlisberger (concussion) are "encouraging." Analysis: Roethlisberger was cleared to make the team flight home to Pittsburgh, remembers everything that happened on Sunday, and isn't dealing with any nausea. Big Ben was knocked out of the game in overtime on a hit by Chiefs LB Derrick Johnson. The Steelers play the Ravens in Week 12. PFT's source says "it'll take a lot" for Roethlisberger to sit out the intradivision matchup.10 hours
.Bears' Cutler held to 171 yards in SNF l... (Rotoworld) Jay Cutler completed just 24-of-43 throws for 171 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the Bears' Week 11 loss to the Eagles. Analysis: Cutler and the Bears' offense once again struggled inside the red zone. He accounted for many of the failures, launching several overthrown balls in the Sunday night loss. He threw just one interception, a refreshing tally after last week's five-pick game, but the turnover was a game-ender. The 4-6 Bears will have a tough time bouncing back next week against the division rival Vikings.10 hours
.McNabb throws two TDs in Week 11 win (Rotoworld) Donovan McNabb completed 23-for-32 passes for 244 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in the Eagles' Week 11 win over the Bears. Analysis: McNabb also scrambled four times for five yards. He made a fair amount of questionable decisions and some pretty bad throws, but also made plenty of big plays. His 48-yard over-the-top touchdown strike to DeSean Jackson in the third quarter was a thing of beauty. McNabb and the Eagles host the Redskins in Week 12.10 hours
.Brett Favre (RotoWire) Favre (hip) was 22-of-25 passing for 213 yards and four touchdowns Sunday in a dominating performance against the Seahawks. Analysis: The 88 percent completion mark is a career high and a Vikings franchise record. Favre threw touchdown passes to four receivers in the blowout. By the fourth quarter he was resting on the bench.10 hours
.Lions | X-rays negative on Stafford's shoulder (KFFL) Nicholas J. Cotsonika, of the Detroit Free Press, reports Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford (shoulder) underwent X-rays on his left shoulder after the team's Week 11 game, which returned negative. Head coach Jim Schwartz said Stafford was having more tests. Schwartz said it was too early to tell if Stafford would play Week 12. Schwartz added, "There's a lot more that needs to be done, but the first thing you wanted to eliminate was a broken collarbone or one of those things." 10 hours
.Antonio Bryant (RotoWire) Bryant (knee) caught three passes for 40 yards in the Buccaneers' 38-7 loss to the Saints Sunday. Analysis: Not great numbers but at least Bryant was out there after missing two games due to his persistent knee problems. Bryant has definitely been a fantasy disappointment this year due poor health and poor performance.10 hours
.McCoy racks up 99 yards, TD in SNF victo... (Rotoworld) LeSean McCoy rushed 20 times for 99 yards and a touchdown as the Eagles topped the Bears 24-20 on Sunday Night Football. Analysis: McCoy showed electric speed on most of his runs. He wasn't involved in the passing game, but blocked better than he has in past weeks and still finished with a fine fantasy line. McCoy will remain a strong fantasy option until Brian Westbrook (concussion) is cleared to return to action. The 6-4 Eagles take on the 3-7 Redskins in Week 12.10 hours
.Terrell Owens (RotoWire) Owens had a monster day in Sunday's loss to the Jaguars, catching nine balls for 197 yards and a touchdown, the longest offensive play in Bills history. Analysis: Given that Owens had a 26/366/1 line for the entire season prior to Sunday, this definitely constitutes a breakout performance. The Bills targeted him all afternoon, and we'd imagine new coach Perry Fewell will keep feeding Owens so long as he can keep getting open and doesn't start dropping numerous balls again. On his Twitter account, Owens was offering a trip and tickets to Buffalo's next game if anyone predicted his stats for the Jacksonville game. Let's just say we didn't hit the 9/197/1 line.10 hours
.Josh Freeman (RotoWire) Freeman had his first bad game as an NFL starter in the Buccaneers' 38-7 loss to the Saints Sunday. Analysis: Freeman completed 17-of-33 passes for only 126 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions and ran twice for 30 yards. Freeman has shown the potential this season so far to be a decent fantasy quarterback in the future, but not right now.10 hours
.Shaun Suisham (RotoWire) Suisham went 2/4 on fields in Week 11, missing his first kicks of the season. Analysis: The makes were from 45 and 31 yards while the misses were from 39 and 50.10 hours
.London Fletcher-Baker (RotoWire) Fletcher recorded 13 tackles, an interception and forced a fumble in Week 11. Analysis: Fletcher dropped a second interception early in the game. He leads the team with 103 tackles.10 hours
.Barrett Ruud (RotoWire) Ruud had 10 tackles (eight solo) and one pass defended in the Buccaneers' 38-7 loss to the Saints Sunday. Analysis: Ruud is a solid IDP league option as he is a tackling machine.10 hours
.Devin Thomas (RotoWire) Thomas had another quiet game, catching three passes for 33 yards in Week 11. Analysis: Thomas showcases his natural ability every now and then but the 'Skins offense is far too inconsistent to give him enough opportunities.10 hours
.Fred Davis (RotoWire) Davis caught two passes for 24 yards in Week 11. Analysis: He continues to start while Chris Cooley (ankle) is out of the lineup. He has failed to make an impact since replacing Cooley in the lineup.10 hours
.Santana Moss (RotoWire) Moss caught five passes for 38 yards in Week 11. Analysis: The 'Skins are unable to protect Campbell which prevents them from utilizing Moss's speed down field.10 hours
.Antwaan Randle El (RotoWire) Randle El caught five passes for 45 yards on Sunday. Analysis: He is a slot receiver on an ineffective passing team. This is as good as it gets with Randle El.10 hours
.Quinton Ganther (RotoWire) Ganther rushed three times for six yards in Week 11. Expect him to see more touches next week as he will spell Rock Cartwright. Analysis: The 'Skins will be without Clinton Portis (concussion) and Ladell Betts (torn MCL) next week.10 hours
.Michael Clayton (RotoWire) Clayton caught one pass for 18 yards, a touchdown, in the Buccaneers' 38-7 loss to the Saints Sunday. Analysis: This was Clayton's first touchdown of the season, and only his 14th catch of the season, which is pretty sad considering Clayton has started every game this season at wide receiver for the Buccaneers. Even though he finally reached the end zone Week 11, Clayton is not really a fantasy-worthy player.10 hours
.Jason Campbell (RotoWire) Campbell completed 24 of 37 passes for 256 yards and one interception in Week 11. The pick came on a tipped pass the end the game. Analysis: The offensive line struggled once again to provide time for Campbell in the pocket. Many of his passes were quick drops and short passes. He faces a tough Eagles defense in Week 12.10 hours
.Stafford throws five touchdowns Week 11 (TheHuddle) The Associated Press reports Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford (undisclosed) went 26-for-43 for 422 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions in Week 11. Stafford appeared to injure his shoulder or chest before the final play of the game but was able to throw his fifth touchdown with no time remaining in the game. Analysis: Stafford had an incredible performance leading the Lions to a come from behind victory over the Cleveland Browns. The Lions quarterback is developing his skills as an NFL quarterback and appears to be headed to stardom in the near future. It is unclear as to his injury status... (More)10 hours
.Lynch carted off, return uncertain (TheHuddle) The Florida Times-Union, reports Buffalo Bills RB Marshawn Lynch (shoulder) was carted off the field after sustaining a shoulder injury. Analysis: Lynch is another player who will be evaluated further on Monday. Backup running back Fred Jackson replaced him in the starting offense and carried the ball 9 times for 35 yards on the afternoon.10 hours
.Rice scores twice Week 11 (TheHuddle) The Associated Press reports Minnesota Vikings WR Sidney Rice caught six passes for 89 yards and two touchdowns in Week 11. Analysis: Rice continues to post huge numbers with QB Brett Favre throwing him the ball in the Minnesota passing game. With defenses having a hard time concentrating entirely on the Minnesota passing game, it appears that the Vikings one of the most well-balanced teams in the league. Rice is a solid playmaker and is clearly one of the first targets Favre looks for in the passing attack.10 hours
.Owens has huge game Week 11 (TheHuddle) The Associated Press reports Buffalo Bills WR Terrell Owens caught nine passes for 197 yards and one touchdown in Week 11. He also set a franchise record with a 98-yard touchdown reception. Analysis: Owens finally broke out of his season-long drought to post numbers that fantasy owners are accustomed to seeing from the talented wideout. Buffalo has a new coach and a new offensive philosophy which could make a difference for fantasy owners who have Owens on their roster for the playoff push in fantasy leagues this year.10 hours
.Betts injured (TheHuddle) FOX Sports, reports Washington Redskins RB Ladell Betts (knee) injured his knee and was helped off the field in the first quarter. Rock Cartwright replaced Betts. Analysis: The Redskins continue to get banged up in the running game. With Clinton Portis already injured and now Ladell Betts, it appears that Washington could be down to their number three running back Rock Cartwright. Cartwright could be the hot running back acquisition for fantasy owners this week if the other Redskin running backs are unavailable.10 hours
.Redskins | Mason could be re-signed (KFFL) Jason Reid, of The Washington Post, reports Washington Redskins offensive coordinator Sherman Smith said the team will need to pick up a running back for Week 12. Smith mentioned free-agent RB Marcus Mason (Redskins) as a possibility. Mason is available and is familiar with the team's offense. 10 hours
.Redskins | Portis out for Week 12 (KFFL) Jason Reid, of The Washington Post, reports Washington Redskins head coach Jim Zorn said RB Clinton Portis (concussion) is out for the team's Week 12 game, according to The Washington Post's Rick Maese. Portis is not yet a candidate for Injured Reserve. 10 hours
.Andy Studebaker (RotoWire) Studebaker had five tackles (four solo), a half-sack and two interceptions in Sunday's overtime win over the Steelers. Analysis: An injury to Mike Vrabel opened the door for Studebaker's first start of the season, and the second-year man from tiny Wheaton College in Illinois made the most of his opportunity. Vrabel may miss another couple of games, so if you're in a deep IDP league looking to take a flier on someone, Studebaker could be your guy.10 hours
.Justin Tuck (RotoWire) Tuck recorded four tackles (three solo) and a sack in Sunday's win over Atlanta. Analysis: The sack was his first since Week 5. His stats have been a tad disappointing this year to say the least (32 tackles, 4.5 sacks), but hopefully he can muster up a strong finish to the season if he is no longer hampered by his shoulder injury.10 hours
.Redskins | Rinehart suffered broken fibula Week 11 (KFFL) Updating a previous item, Jason Reid, of The Washington Post, reports Washington Redskins OG Chad Rinehart (fibula) suffered a broken right fibula Week 11. Head coach Jim Zorn said, "We'll have a better assessment, but it's fractured." Rinehart's season is likely over. 10 hours
.Redskins | Betts likely tore his MCL Week 11 (KFFL) Updating a previous item, Jason Reid, of The Washington Post, reports Washington Redskins RB Ladell Betts (knee) suffered a torn MCL "for sure," according to head coach Jim Zorn. Zorn added he doesn't know how severe the injury. Betts will undergo an MRI exam Monday, Nov. 23. Betts did not want to speculate about possibly missing the team's last six games. Betts added, "I can't even feel anything right now, I don't have any pain, so I'll just get the MRI in the morning, see what damage is done and go from there." 10 hours
.Tamba Hali (RotoWire) Hali had seven tackles (five solo), including a tackle for a loss in Sunday's overtime win over the Steelers. Analysis: Hali got off to a hot start, but now has just 0.5 sacks in his last four games. He's only worth considering in the deepest of IDP leagues.11 hours
.Bulger to be evaluated (Rotoworld) Marc Bulger will be evaluated by the Rams' medical staff after taking some hits late in Sunday's game. Analysis: Bulger appeared woozy down the stretch of the game, and it clearly affected his accuracy. He also told reporters at a post-game news conference that he has an injured groin and hamstring. Coach Steve Spagnuolo says Bulger got a "little bit dinged in the head. He took some whacks there at the end."11 hours
.Mike Brown (RotoWire) Brown had nine tackles (five solo) and a sack in Sunday's overtime win over the Steelers. Analysis: After a season of disappointing performances, Brown has started to flash the playmaking ability he demonstrated earlier in his career with the Bears. He had two interceptions last week, a sack this week, and could be a sleeper play in deep IDP leagues moving forward.11 hours
.Demorrio Williams (RotoWire) Williams had 10 tackles (nine solo) in Sunday's overtime victory over the Steelers. Analysis: Williams has been an inconsistent producer this season, but now has 19 tackles in the last two weeks. He's worth a look as a cheap source of tackles in deep IDP leagues.11 hours
.Boss scores twice Week 11 (TheHuddle) The Associated Press reports New York Giants TE Kevin Boss caught five passes for 76 yards with two touchdowns Week 11. Analysis: Boss has been quiet for much of the season but quarterback Eli Manning had no problem finding his starting tight end in Week 11. The Giants have a nice complement of receivers to go along with Boss which should only make the Giants offense even harder to defend. Fantasy owners should not expect this type of game from Boss every week but he is capable of providing solid stat lines against teams that have weaker pass defenses.11 hours
.Snelling scores twice Week 11 (TheHuddle) The Associated Press reports Atlanta Falcons RB Jason Snelling had 25 carries for 76 yards with two rushing touchdowns Week 11. He also caught three passes for 13 receiving yards. Analysis: Snelling filled in nicely for the Falcons in light of the injury to their star runner Michael Turner who could miss another game or two while nursing a high ankle sprain. Fantasy owners should certainly make acquiring Jason Snelling a priority since he could get the bulk of the carries for Atlanta going forward. He should be considered a No. 2 runnin... (More)11 hours
.Bobby Wade (RotoWire) Wade had three receptions for 17 yards in Sunday's overtime win over the Steelers. Analysis: Wade was inactive last week, but Dwayne Bowe's four-game suspension reopened a spot for him on the active roster. He had some opportunities (six targets), but didn't do anything noteworthy. Leave him on waivers unless you're absolutely desperate for WR help.11 hours
.Michael Lewis (RotoWire) Lewis led the 49ers with 11 tackles in Sunday's loss against the Packers. Analysis: Lewis continues to put up big numbers despite his problems with multiple concussions over the course of the season. He has totaled 54 tackles in nine games with an interception, forced fumble, and two pass deflections.11 hours
.Ryan Succop (RotoWire) Succop connected on two field goals Sunday against the Steelers, including the game-winner in overtime. He also hit three extra points. Analysis: Kansas City's offense has been showing some life, even against the tougher defenses, and Succop is slowly creeping toward fantasy relevance. He's made at least two field goals in five of his last six games.11 hours
.Vernon Davis (RotoWire) Davis caught a team-high six receptions for 108 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss against the Packers. Analysis: Davis bounced back in a big way after a disappointing Week 10 performance (three catches, 16 yards, no touchdowns) against the Bears. He will continue to be Alex Smith's favorite target moving forward and an elite tight end option.11 hours
.Michael Crabtree (RotoWire) Crabtree finished with four receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss against the Packers. Analysis: It was Crabtree's first touchdown catch of his NFL career, coming on a 38-yard pass from Alex Smith midway through the third quarter. The 49ers seem poised to move forward with a spread offense with Smith in the shotgun, an idea that Crabtree was clearly happy about in post-game interviews.11 hours
.Dantrell Savage (RotoWire) Savage (ankle) was inactive for Sunday's overtime win over the Steelers. Analysis: Backup Kolby Smith was injured during the game, so the Chiefs may look to add some RB depth during the week.11 hours
.Eagles | Samuel injured Week 11 (KFFL) CBSSports.com reports Philadelphia Eagles CB Asante Samuel (stinger) left the team's Week 11 game with a stinger and is questionable to return. 11 hours
.Giants | Ross plays some safety Week 11, says he is still a CB (KFFL) Mike Garafolo, of The Star-Ledger, reports New York Giants CB Aaron Ross lined up at safety for much of the team's Week 11 game, but he claims he hasn't switched positions. Ross said, "I'm still a corner, just helping out at safety." Ross will likely return to his starting position once he regains his stamina, but he was deep at safety for most of the plays in the nickel and dime packages Week 11. 11 hours
.Sean Ryan (RotoWire) Ryan did not have a reception in Sunday's overtime win over the Steelers. Analysis: Leonard Pope seems to have surpassed Ryan on the depth chart. No Chiefs tight end is worth owning in standard leagues, but if you have one, it should be Pope, not Ryan.11 hours
.Leonard Pope (RotoWire) Pope had two catches for 26 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's overtime win over the Steelers. Analysis: Pope is starting to get more opportunities in the Chiefs' passing game, but he was still targeted just three times on Sunday. We'll need to see some semi-consistent production before recommending him as a fantasy option.11 hours
.Frank Gore (RotoWire) Gore rushed for 59 yards on seven carries in Sunday's loss against the Packers. He also caught three passes for nine yards and a touchdown. Analysis: Gore's workload will vary from week-to-week depending on the opposition and game situation. He got just seven carries this week compared to the 25 that he saw against the Bears. Regardless of how heavy or light his workload ends up, Gore always seems to find a way to make an impact on the stat sheet.11 hours
.Lance Long (RotoWire) Long had two receptions for 37 yards in Sunday's overtime win over the Steelers. Analysis: Despite the absence of Dwayne Bowe (four-game suspension), Long was targeted just three times on Sunday. He hasn't come close to matching his eight-catch performance from Week 9 and should probably be left on waivers in most leagues.11 hours
.Dwight Lowery (RotoWire) Lowery, who started over Lito Sheppard for the second consecutive game, injured his left ankle on a kickoff return Sunday and was on crutches afterward, the Newark Star-Ledger reports. Analysis: More on his status in the coming days, but this could open the door for Sheppard to return to the starting lineup.11 hours
.Eagles' Samuel suffers stinger, question... (Rotoworld) Asante Samuel suffered a stinger Sunday night and is questionable to return. Analysis: Samuel suffered the injury in the third quarter and was immediately pulled from the game. He had three tackles before exiting.11 hours
.Eagles | J. Parker injured Week 11 (KFFL) CBSSports.com reports Philadelphia Eagles DE Juqua Parker (undisclosed) left the field Week 11 with an injury and was replaced by DE Victor Abiamiri. 11 hours
.Chris Chambers (RotoWire) Chambers led the Chiefs with four receptions for 119 yards in Sunday's overtime win over the Steelers. Analysis: Once again, Chambers did most of his damage late, hauling in a 47-yard bomb on the Chiefs' game-tying drive late in the fourth quarter and breaking free on a 61-yard catch-and-run in overtime to put Kansas City in position for the game-winning field goal. He only has 10 catches in three games as a Chief, but averages a whopping 25 yards per grab. In three-WR leagues, Chambers should be a weekly lineup option.11 hours
.Alex Smith (RotoWire) Smith completed 16-of-33 passes for 227 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in Sunday's loss to the Packers. Analysis: Smith was horrid early on, going just 3-of-7 for five yards in the first half. He picked it up big time in the second half though, a result of the 49ers going exclusively to a spread offense with him in the shotgun formation. Smith bounced back strong from his 118-yard effort last week against the Bears. He'll get a nice matchup in Week 12 against a vulnerable Jags secondary.11 hours

.Giants | Webster dinged Week 11 (KFFL) Ralph Vacchiano, of the New York Daily News, reports New York Giants CB Corey Webster (ribs) missed a few plays Week 11 after he took an elbow or knee to his ribs. Webster said he just had the wind knocked out of him. 11 hours
.Clary carted off with ankle injury (FFChamps) San Diego Chargers' tackle Jeromey Clary was carted off the field Sunday with a left ankle injury. Clary injured the ankle when a Bronco defender rolled up on his leg. He did not return to San Diego's 32-3 rout of division rival Denver. Analysis: In the post-game presser, coach Norv Turner alluded to Clary's injury potentially being of the significant variety. San Diego's offense is purring right now, but every chain is only as strong as it's weakest link...Brandyn Dombrowski is Clary's backup, and will most likely be the man who steps up and tries to avoid being that weak link.11 hours
