| Guys--i co-formed a league a couple of years ago, which i think is interesting/challening/fun/different....as a matter of fact, Docomo's Giant Meggets is is the league...... we have an opening. the SHORT version: it's a LIVE auction format. 2 night. sept 7 and sept 10. i know that second night is after the season begins, but we are allowing for the players' stats to be used..... From the orphaned team, an owner may keep 1 player at his current salary as a franchise player. this team has rudi ($3), s jackson ($35), mcnabb ($18), horn ($20), djax ($20) as some of it's players. so, except for 12 players every other player is essentially back in the pool and up for auction....BUT, each owner can use 2 exceptions, called RFA to secure 2 of his players from the previous season AFTER the bidding has stopped..... so, if steven jackson's bidding stops at say, $40, the owner can then keep jackson to go with his franchise player. and you can do that TWICE during the auction..... the scoring system is slightly different and the 4 teams that reach the semifinals of the playoffs all receive payouts. the entry is $100 (or $105, i cannot remember exactly)....the winner last season took home $575..... there's more to it that i'll be happy to explain if anyone is interested, i can fillya in.....drop me a line if you're interested in a real solid league and the rapid fire action of a live auction..... thanks sean |
