| Wondering if anyone else would like to revamp the waiver wire system. Currently we have until kickoff until friday at @ 11:00 pm... All leagues are pretty different concerning this setup. I was thinking more like Wednesday 11:00 PM or Midnight, for teams to submit waivers..leaving the remaining days until kickoff of the first game of the week etc..for an open, free agent period..first come, first serve. I'm not even sure if we have a free agent period for our league...i was always too late to get anyone. It is VERY helpful at times to grab a last second waiver pickup before Sunday kickoff. This rule would help everyone. Can we vote on a waiver change? |

| Is there any way we vote on our own waiver system? Or do we have to go by the overall GFFL rules? Specifically, after wednesday's waiver date with worst to first order of picks, would it not be a good thing to then have an open waiver wire of first come first serve? In this current system based on waiver wire order, if I put in 2 players and they are both picked ahead of me, Im out of luck right? That was the case all last year. I have no ability to choose another two? Except now it seems I can try it again before sat> But what about Sunday morning issues and you have to get another guy in due to injury or whatever? This waiver system is far too limiting in my opinion. Why not do a first come first serve waiver wire after wednesday? Most leagues do it this way. |
