| Hey guys-- Even though it's only March, it's never too early to start thinking about the upcoming Fantasy Football season! The reason is because here at GLFFL, we pride ourselves in being one of the only on-line fantasy football organizations that strives to eliminate the concept of the off-season. Our motto is there for a reason-- Everyday. Year Round. Fantasy Football is all we want to do. How 'bout you? We have a few changes in store for the 2006 season, all geared toward making your fantasy football experience the best it can be. **The addition of a League History Application on all GLFFL League Pages (http://mflhistory.com/leaguehistory.php?id=69) **Modification of the Waiver Wire System-- Starting this year, all GLFFL Leagues will conduct the FIRST round of transactions on Wednesday night at 11 p.m. ET. This will eliminate the switches throughout the year when Thursday games come into play. The difference in the system is this-- the NEXT two rounds of weekly transactions will take place on SATURDAY at 1 p.m. EST with free agents again being awarded to teams on a worst-to-first basis (record, total points, power ranking). Also, players dropped on WEDNESDAY night ARE eligible to be added during the second transaction processing event on SATURDAY afternoon. This system will give you the opportunity to add and drop up to FOUR players each week, using TWO different waiver priority dates each week. **The off-season Rookie Draft will still take place on May 15th and be followed up with three more draft rounds before the start of the regular season (June 15, July 15 and August 31). The teams with the worst regular season records the previous season will have the first opportunity to select rookies and free agents in May. Without looking at trades that have been made affecting draft picks, here is the current order for this league: 1. Blue Ghost 2. Warp Speed Warriors 3. Cellar Dweller 4. Fighting Bandits 5. DC United II 6. Savage Sasquatches 7. Killer Racoons 8. KnackersWackers 9. Slapaho Nation 10. Wet Willies 11. Sun Devils 12. River Rats 13. Cellar Dweller -- Consolation Champ We are also in the process of updating all of our payment records. When you are marked as paid for 2006, an asterick ( * ) will be placed next to your team name and you will be eligible to make trades with other teams in the league. If you are not marked with an asterick and you have paid for 2006, please let us know ASAP so we can get the records verified. Also don't forget the incentive to find new blood for the GLFFL-- a $10 credit will be given to any owner that recruits a replacement for this league, IF the replacement does not own any other team throughout the GLFFL! | Modification of the Waiver Wire System-- Is this paragraph correct? It reads as three waiver rounds, but later states FOUR players can be drop/add per week. Am I missing something? thanks BP PS: really like all the History tables. |

| Slapaho-- Glad you like the history tables! I think the paragraphs are getting mixed up-- during the season, we're doing four transaction rounds each week, allowing for that number of drops and adds each week. During the off-season, we're doing round one and then three more rounds which I think is where the confusion is coming from. Let me know if that makes sense. Thanks again, Kirk |

| Kirk nice touch by adding the history page.... Its great to see that RR has been on the losing end of 3 (of the top 5) in the least margin of victory category (#1 @ .40, #3 @ .60 and #5 @ .80). LOL  I wanted to remind you that I had to pay for 2007 when I made the Tiki Barber for T.O. trade last year becuase it involved my #1 draft pick this year. I don't remember if I had to pay half or the whole amount for the year? I know that trade date was 11/19/05 so the payment had to be around the same time. If you could let me know what if any I owe for this year. Thanks Shawn |
