| I thought i better give an update to the league and re introduce the new owners and give them a heads up about the draft and claiming after the draft We have 13 happy and 1 not so happy owners As some as you have read on the message board their was a fine and appeal. nic was fined because of late league payment and appealed that fine but the board upheld the fine. I have given nic an option if he feels that i have handled his situation wrong, or is not happy with the way the league is run and even if he doesn't like the ruling by the board. i will refund his money before our draft with no hard feelings and try to find a replacement owner. The reason i am telling the league this is that if he does want a refund, our draft might be pushed back until we have 14 owners. I think it would be better for the league to have 14 owners who are happy and want to be with the league than 13 + 1 unhappy owner(if he is unhappy i am assuming that from emails we have had). So we have 2 new owners at this point Sammie (who took over wade's team) from Dallas THE SAVAGES Scott (who took over mike g's team) from Denver THE STONECUTTERS Our draft will start may 8 9:00 AM if we have 14 owners and each owner will have 24 hrs to make each pick. I will be posting this email on the site and i HOPE AND REQUEST that each owner will go to this post and reply to it and tell the league when they are around the computer to make their picks. EXAMPLE Joe blow would say i have no computer access during the day so i will make my picks after 6pm when i get home. this way people aren't checking the site ever 2 minutes to see when they are on the clock. There are 4 important things to know for the draft 1. you can predraft so the draft will be quicker 2. if your timer runs out your pick will be skipped and when you get to a computer go to the message board to post a message on the player you want. this player can NOT be a player that has been drafted since your skipped pick. Once you post that message that player will be your and can not be drafted by anyone even though he is in the database as free agent (until i insert him on your team) 3. If there is a player you want but he isn't in the database you can do 2 things : contact me to insert him into the database or draft a retired player in his place then go to the message board and post on who that player really is 4. In our league you can draft high school and college players but if those players go back to school you lose their rights. Another unique twist in our league is claiming after the draft. All teams must be down to 35 players before AUGUST 31 11:59:59 PM but the twist in our league is if you get down to 35 our under you may claim players during the off season in a FCFS (FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS) But once you get to 35 you must stay at or under 35. the only time you may go over 35 once you are there is by trade but if you do you lose the right to do any claiming in the FCFS period. if you have any questions email me or post them on the site in this thread thanks troy | |

| for me drafting i have computer access all day so i shouldn't hold up the draft at anytime except when talking trade but i will post and let owners know that i am waiting for a trade response so there mightt be a delay |

| I'm going to be moving on the 6th/7th. I've set up an appointment with Telus to get my internet connected on the 8th, but can't guarnatee that I'll have it. If not, I'll try my best to get get access to a computer or call Bobby and have him enter my picks for me. |

| Since the company I work for is one of the many that actually fall for that "fantasy footballers cost companies millions of dollars" b.s., I won't be having access to this or any FF website until after 6:30pm (or so) CST. I'd likely be able to make my pick that evening (or a morning that sandwiches it). Go Savs.... |

| brokeback manhas???? sat and I are brothers, and raveen is our nephew..... isn't it in Godfather 3 that two cousins are pounding each other......and aren't you and Jamie cousins?????  maybe if you guys weren't going Brokeback Coquitlam on each other you would have read that April 1 was the deadline. Probably too busy pulling a Vito Spadafor on each other at the construction site.......actually I'm sorry, I shouldn't get Jamie involved since he's not a part of this league right  haha guys all in good fun, gotta give you the props on the creativity for that name..........have a good month boys, draft is just around the corner. |

| BTW....Nice name with the Brokeback Manhas. Lucky for me, I'm not a Manhas. I'm a Manhas-Lite...half the dysfuncationality, and only 1/10th the emotional scars of the regular leading brand of Manhas.
