Topic Superior League 3 Message Board / Let's try this out-- FINAL rule clarification!! (43 hits)

Commissioner Date Tue Jun 14 8:06:01 p.m. ET 2005
We've heard so much on this these past few days that we here at the GLFFL did some research to past practices of the various auction league drafts, talked with some members of the GLFFL's Board of Directors, and decided to attempt a further clarification for what exactly you need to do as you enter the reallocation portion of the auction, set to begin tomorrow at 12 noon ET.

Here's what has been settled on as the new and improved rules for this auction--

Teams will keep a total of six (6) players from year to year, without restriction to specific positions. The rest are cut and go into a pool to be auctioned the following year. Cuts must be declared no later than May 1st. Each owner will receive 100 "units" in which to bid on new players. The restocking auction will commence on June 15, 2004. During the restocking auction, owners are required, at a MINIMUM, to complete a 16-man roster. This roster must include all the required starting player positions (1 QB, 1-2 RB, 3-4 WR, 1 TE, 1 PK, 1 DF). Owners may also expand to as many as 20 players at any time during the off-season (restocking auction or single round drafts), with the requirement that rosters are to be cut down one week prior to the start of the regular season.

Best of luck to all--please let me know if there are any additional clarifications that are needed.

Thanks!!
