There has been a motion (Resolution DKL220#2-Cash Prize Distribution) tabled to alter the leagues cash prize distribution. The motion has been tabled by the RIP Republic's owner Mr. Martin. The motion up for debate relates to the Diamond Keeper League 220 2006 cash prize distribution. The existing cash prize distribution is the default setting for all of FantasyGemz Fantasy Football 12-Team Diamond Leagues and can be viewed at the leagues homepage. The current cash prize distribution is: League Champion: $215, Second Place: $75, Third Place: $60, and Fourth Place: $50. Mr. Martin requests league wide discussion on the following suggested cash prize distribution: League Champion: $200, League Runner-up: $80, and each Division Winner (3): $40. ____________________________________________________________ Following is the commissioners statement to be added to the league wide discussion on motion Resolution DKL220#2-Cash Prize Distribution. The present cash prize distribution was formulated mainly for reasons of league owner participation throughtout the playoffs. In past keeper leagues with division winners receiveing payment for winning their division, it has been a practice of a high percentage of those owners walking away with those prizes without participating in the playoffs. The present format ensures owner participation from league kickoff to seasons end, including the playoffs. _____________________________________________________________ Please review the commissioners statement on Resolution DKL220#2-Cash Prize Distribution carefully. It is strongly advised that the owners discuss the pros & cons regarding the motion. A Live Chat has been activated on your leagues homepage to discuss the motion currently on the table. Once each owner has thoroughly considered the motion and relayed such consideration via the Live Chat, they should then place their vote for or against the motion. The motion will be tabled from April 10, 2006 through April 17, 2006 10:00pm ET. Once again, it is strongly suggested that ALL owners consider the motion CAREFULLY and not place their vote until ALL urguments have been heard. The motion is automatically accepted if seven (7) "Accept" votes are cast (likewise, it will be automatically rejected if enough "Reject" votes are cast). A missing vote from an owner at the time the poll is over is considered a "Reject" vote.

It seems we're missing $80 in the proposed format. With the current distribution there is a total of $400 up for grabs. With the proposed cash distribution there is only $320. Where is the extra cash going?

Agreed. Account for the remaining $80 and it might work. Otherwise it's stupid.

My Proposal was $200 for first $80 for runner up play offs. $40 for each division winner. Total $400 and it keeps us interested in the regular season also.
