| Had the Colts gone for two instead of letting Vanderhozen kick the extra point, who would have won the Krohn Bowl? I vaguely remember that we voted on a new rule for the playoffs to no longer submit a list of substitute players in descending order to break ties. But I don't remember how playoff ties are now decided. | A 28-28 tie would have gone to Cal. We now operate under the rule that the team with the better record in the regular season would advance -- essentially, a half-point advantage for home-field advantage. |
