As someone interested in respecting the integrity of the DFL, I pose the question to Cal: What is the plural of Oski? Is it really "Oskies?" I might argue that it is "Oskis," just as the plural of ski is skis, not Oskies, as skies is the plural of sky. Then again, who is to say that the plural of Oski is not simply ... Oski? In that case, you would need to name your team the Lakeview Oski, similar to, say, the Seattle Storm. Pardon me for posting on this holy day of commercialism, but I am a loyal soldier in the War on Christmas. A Happy Hanukkah to you all. -Stuart The GRK: Santana Moss would have had an amazing Krohn Bowl!

A very interesting question. Until now I think there was no plural of Oskie. (There was only "The Oskie" a costant pain to Bruce Taylor.) Anyway, since it's my team I think I can call it whatever I want. Finally why aren't you off celebrating the Festival of Lights, instead off messing with my Christmas. Shalom

I can and do mess with anyone, at any time. My point is that the name of the mascot is not Oskie, it's Oski. See www.oski.com Speak now or forever have the wrong spelling of Oskis. -Stuart The GRK: The DFL's best spellers.
