| Each owner will receive 100 "units" in which to bid on a maximum of 10 new players. Every owner had to cut down to 6 players as keepers for May 1st but then were allowed to make trades after that time. Therefore, some teams have 6 players, some have as many as 8. During the off-season, you are allowed to carry up to 20 players on your team so you can use this round to get your roster up to at least 16 players. Don't worry about holding any money back as we go back to a draft format in July and twice in August. The restocking auction will commence on June 15, 2004. On the 15th, starting at 12 noon ET, teams will be permitted to throw out a maximum of 3 players with an opening bid. You can raise bids as long as you have available funds but you cannot throw out new players with opening bids until you have won someone in the auction. Remember, the clock restarts each time a bid is raised and you have to have the high bid for a period of 24 hours in order to win a player in the auction. Best of luck! |
