| well, you have made if clear in the past you play for the challenge of "building" the best team. and you have also made it clear that a week or 2 at the end of the season doesn't REALLY determine the best team..... so yeah, what the hell, playoff wins DON'T count..... hehehehe |

| I guess we all measure achievement differently. Yes Its nice to be Champ, no doubt, however thats just one game, or two, at the end of the year is what it really boils down to. Dont let your mind be poisoned by the term champ, it simply means you won one game........It CERTAINLY doesnt mean you have the best team, that title is reserved for the team that performs week in and week out, year in and year out. I doubt you'd pick the Steelers over the Colts if they had it to play again. I was champ in the other GLFFL league I was in and no way was I the best team...I just got lucky at the right time. BTW FYI Judge I took home the biggest purse in GLFFL History...hopefully thats puts the money issue to bed for good. |

| Money schmoney. I'd take the title over the perception that I had the best team that just happen to lose in the playoffs every time. Not that my squad here fell into either category. Payouts are nice. But I want the title. Everything else is just a consolation prize. |

| exactly....the cash part is simply something i tweak ole pounded with.....if i was concerned about money, i sure as hell wouldn't be putting it into a crapshoot like this and. it was only a matter of time before he brought up the "other" league.....he has a habit of bringing outside stuff into michigan 7 that few, if any, in michigan 7 care about.....hehehe but guess what.....the bottom line here is ole pounded can have all the career records, the single game records, the season records, whatever the case may be.....he also has career record for playoff losses. he also has the career record tor playoff losing percentage.....there's a few more i would imagine..... bottom line....it ain't the money, tho the money is nice.....it's WINNING THE TITLE.....hehehe....i could care less if i was the "best" team or the worst team......i've won from the #1 seed and from the #6 seed....it doesn't matter......what matters is the BIG W at the end of the season..... now pounded would have you think that the 2 or 3 games at the end of the season are just luck and getting hot at the right time.....well, what do we figure he would have said had he actually won the title.....anyone here think he would have called that just luck? ANYONE? hehehehehe....... fact is each and every week is a crapshoot.....i've had teams that outscored everyone in the league and didn't make the playoffs.....does the point total make me the best team? i've had teams that scored the fewest poiints in the divsion, yet won the title....well, does THAT make me the best team? truth is anyone can say anyone is the best team.....pounded's prediction at the beginning of the season i believe called himself the best team, or at least tied for the best team.....well, what exactly did that get him.....same as the season before. lots of wins, no title.....wait, not quite the same as the season before, cuz this season he got handed a playoff loss from the bums, which certainly frosted his cake....hehehehe...... anyway, the next season will be filled with thrills and spills.....and there's no doubt in my mind, pounded will still own some career records.....will they be the good ones or the bad ones? hehehe...well, i imagine luck will have something to do with it.....unless of course he wins, then we'll all get to hear how great his team is

| BTW, if pounded wants to keep playing and NOT be champ, we should just let him....i mean if being champ is just nice and it means you just got lucky, well hell, i'll take that every year.....once the 6 teams makes the playoffs you can take your week in and week out performance and toss it in the hell bucket.... but hey, i'm more than willing to say pounded has the best team. pounded, i bow to you. you certainly have the best team

| Yeah, the Hall of Fame is full of players that never won the Superbowl. That's true. Ask those guys which they'd rather have. That's why Marino played on one leg with no help the last five years of his career, long after he had established himself as statistically the greatest QB in NFL history. I'm sure there are guys in the Hall and in football today who don't really give a crap about the fact that they never won it all. They can kiss my ass. I don't want to know them (though I'd probably take an interest free loan or a free Bentley, if they offered). Exhibit A: Bruce Smith, who once sat out a playoff game with a tummy ache and who hung around four years past being remotely effective in the hopes he could touch enough QBs who had tripped over their own feet, so he could claim the sack record and let idiot Bills fans and Bruce's immediate family argue he's the best DE in history. Nevermind the fact that three generations of players competed before the sack was a recognized statistic. Nevermind the fact that it took Smith about 60 more games to rack up the sacks he got than it took White. Nevermind the fact that Smith was a liability against the run for all but 3 seasons of his career. Nevermind the fact that he tended to vanish in the biggest games and against the best competition. Oh, wait. What was my point again? |

| You understand my point has nothing to do with what the player preferred, the point is that there are scores of players that were the best in the game and never won the SB. ...and vice versa Larry Brown was the MVP of SuperBowl 30, released the following year....Larry Who? ....but you sure know alot about BS (Bruce Smith that is)

| I would rather win a championship with a good team, rather than have the best team on paper and always be a bridesmaid. I know I do not have the best team on paper in this league. My goal is to always make the playoffs....where anything can happen. One or two hot guys in week #15 and #16 is all you need. |

| thanks...i think our teams are fairly evenly matched..... but let's wait for the preseason preview from pounded...where pundits figure there's AT LEAST a 50% chance andre names himself as the best team.... and hey, the titles he has won in 2 seasons certainly would back that viewpoint up......

So, for the same logic that allows you to use playoff record against me is the same logic that I use ...hmmm lets seee...Reg Season record, Overall wins records, points record...against you Playoff wins with no championships is what you're trying to say you'd rather have...LOL! Well, I have those too...so now what? I'd rather have the best winning percentage in the league, than a couple of playoff wins with no championship, but to each his own. Hate Me Baby, Hate Me!

| hehehe....your logic is flawed, not an unusual occurence... certainly playing in a super bowl and losing is far better than being 0-2 in the playoffs..... you can have your scoring records, your winning percentage and hell, you can have all the wins you want against me in the regular season..... WHEN IT COUNTED, my team beat yours by 61 points..... i have NOT won the super bowl in my ONE season in michigan 7. but my playoff record is 2-1. betcha every owner here would take that record to your goose egg in playoff wins.... hehehe....how about a poll, pounded?
