Hello! I'm typing this into the e-mail and then copy / pasting this onto the message board as well. That way those Web TV people can see what's happening. QBs - Top 5 Rank - Player - Fantasy Team - 2005 Salary - Increase - New 2006 Salary 1. Carson Palmer - Elmhurst Carnivores - $13.00 - AVG of #2 to #5 - $31.00 2. Tom Brady - Chaos Theory - $11.00 - $3.00 - $14.00 3. Peyton Manning - Warp Speed Warriors - $47.00 - $8.00 - $55.00 4. Matt Hasselbeck - Browns Rock Otto - $19.00 - $3.00 - $22.00 5. Eli Manning - Mutt Cutts - $5.00 - $25.00 - $30.00 The QBs broke down as follows. 1. Carson Palmer received the average of the 2006 salaries of Tom Brady through Eli Manning. So I added up their salaries to get a total of $121, divided that by 4 and got a salary cap number of $30.25. All salary amounts are rounded up, so the new salary for Carson Palmer is $31. 2. Tom Brady and Matt Hasselbeck each received the set $3.00 increase as the percentage increase was less than $3 for each of them and both players salaries were over the $10 limit for the Larry Johnson rule. 3. Peyton Manning received the 15% increase which came out to $7.05. Rounded up that is an $8.00 increase to $55 for 2006. 4. Eli Manning received a $25 increase based on the Larry Johnson rule as his salary is less than $10. Adding the $25 to his $5 salary makes his new salary $30 for 2006. I have some other stuff to get to tonight so I will do Paul Brown within the next few days as I have a funeral to attend tomorrow and Wednesday, pick-up rehearsal on Thursday and the final two performances of the play on Friday and Saturday with set breakdown on Sunday. Not to mention hosting a wild cast party on Friday evening so I have a ton of cleaning and cooking to do. So it's going to be a busy week. later, Jason WSWs

I have been unable to get on the internet for awhile due to internet problems. Maybe you guys already talked about this. I have a question regarding the salary increase computation. Just talking about Carson Palmer here, cuz that's all I had time to look at. Is there a double hit here? Warp added up the totals of Brady thru Eli and came up with $121 then divided by 4= $30. Shouldn't THAT be Palmer's salary for 2006? THE $30 shouldn't be added to the $13 from last year should it? That does not seem right. Otherwise, Brady et al get their increase figured on their base and Palmer's get figured on the other QB's new number for 2006 and THEN it get's added to the 2005 number. If it is right, that seems an awful big penalty for being the #1 player at a position. Just a question. - Elmhurst

Hi, Changed Carson Palmer to the correct price of $31 for his new salary. My bad! I was adding things up down the line and just added it to his 2005 salary without thinking. The change has been made. Any other errors sighted just post or e-mail. Thanks! Jason
