| Hi, Personally, I don't like it. You find a stud at $1, you should be able to reap the benefits of that move for a few years at least. Under the current system or the proposed 'compromise' system that player would increase dramatically over a few years time frame. I think that's only fair. Should that player do so well he hits the #1 overall spot at his position his salary skyrockets as it should. But hitting #2 or lower and he still gets an increase. I just don't like the idea of penalizing one owner for making a smart, lucky, or whatever choice and gaining a stud at a cheap price. That's what auctions are all about. Just my 2 cents, I'll send that out in the mail to all of you tomorrow.

| All true, just like the real game...taking Tom Brady in round 6 or Terrell Davis in round 7 or Jerry Rice in round whatever...yes, an owner deserves to reap the reward. But for how long? All these late round studs got paid BIG in the real game and in fantasy football, in Otto and Paul Brown, we gotta address the LJ issue 'cause he won't be the last surprise. So what is the answer? I like the Jason compromise but it seems to lack support from about half the league. |
