Am I missing something ? Are Gridiron & Devil's Rejects still playing for anything? Why would they put in for waiver wire players if they are out of the playoffs? Is there a toilet bowl that I don't know about ? Just curious (I had put in a claim for Rackers and was surprised to see Gridiron grab him )..........Q

| Total Points Championship is still up for grabs although there are only a few teams with a legitimate shot. There is no toilet bowl. I also put in for Rackers but guess I wouldn't have got him since you had priority. Dave | |

| I have a suggestion......next year make the TOTAL POINTS award end after Week 13. Then make a rule that Free Agent pickups end at Week 13 UNLESS you are in the playoffs. This would prevent this from happening. The fact that TC is over 300 points behind the leaders in total points and he is out of the playoffs makes it ridiculous that he would grab a Free Agent this week. In fact, I think the Commish should reverse the free agent grab due to this fact. It is detrimental to the league. Q | |

| I will submit your rule proposal(s) to the Qualifier Commissioners in the offseason. I'm not going to reverse any waivers since it's not against the rules as written for non-playoff teams to pickup free agents after week 13. Dave | |

NorthCoast Surf:> Am I missing something Yes we are. We have a week 15 contest vs 4th& Goal. Because of that, we have an obligation to the league to field the best possible score this week. For a team to 'quit' is not a positive... PK Rackers will start for the GG team this week. Silly me. MY suggestion is to not schedule regular season games during the playoffs. | |

| TC: I understand your decision based on the fact that you thought you were "playing to win" and had a game scheduled this week, however I think you really do not have a game scheduled and teams that are out of the playoffs are simply "posting scores" to qualify for the Total Points award. There is a way in this MFL software to NOT have a scheduled game and still ahve the scores count, I think maybe Dave or Mark (Commish') simply may not be aware of this. I was not implying that you did anything wrong, I know you acted within the rules as they are posted.......Q | |

| (FYI: Larry and I are online friends that have enjoyed sharing many seasons. He's a fine guy, too. There is no hostilities between us.) This seems a league management issue for the commissioner to maintain. Perhaps it is a settings error -- It does seem silly for a non-playoff team to have games scheduled -and- have the option to claim/drop players. I "thought" the GG/4thGoal outcome mattered and that a better-than-Peterson kicker would benefit me. ![]() How about we adjust the POINT CHAMPION to be regular season only? The MFL software will allow non-games to be scored by scheduling a BYE to teams out of the playoffs. In fact, it can be set up where all post-season games are not reflected in standings. Commish .. Do as you feel is best - what is best for the group. If decided that GG should not be able to better it's roster during the playoffs, you should reverse my FA claim and view the prior claims by playoff teams, making adjustments to their transactions. | |

| If this was brought up last week, it (waivers for non-playoff teams) could have been passed to the Executive Committee for review but Gridiron picked up Ryan Moats last week and noone objected. More than one playoff team had requested Moats as their #1 waiver pick for that week. Again, this will be addressed by the EC during the offseason. Dave |
