The GLFFL Ultimate Challenge - Rules - Great Lakes Fantasy Football Leagues

GREAT LAKES FANTASY FOOTBALL LEAGUES

The GLFFL Ultimate Challenge - Rules

Section I - General

1. There is no cost to join the GLFFL Ultimate Challenge League. The only requirement is that the participant is a member of another GLFFL League AND a registered member of the GLFFL Message Board -- http://glffl.ipbhost.com/index.php

2. The league will consist of an unlimited number of teams grouped in one conference.

3. All owners will be allotted 160 units of auction money to spend on 16 roster spots. The roster may consist of any 16 players, provided the following minimum requirements have been met: 2 QB, 2 RB, 4 WR, 1 TE, 1 PK, 1 DF and 5 reserves of any position. The owner must also stay under the 160 unit salary cap at all times.

4. Owners may pick their 16 player rosters as soon as they have signed up for the Ultimate Challenge. They will do this by using the "Waiver" button on the left side under the standings and their team name on the right. Players may be dropped and added at any time leading up to the start of the regular season. The only stipulation is that owners must remain within the 160 unit salary cap (at or below) at all times.

5. Salary cap values will be determined using the amount spent on players during a specified Superior League auction. In the first year of the GLFFL's Ultimate Challenge, auction values will be derived from the amounts spend in Superior League 1. To see player values, use the "Free Agents" option on the pull down menu. Players who never received an auction value in Superior League 1 will be valued at 1 unit each.

6. Once the regular season begins, owners are permitted TWO drop/add transactions each week. Drop/Add Transaction requests must be made through the web site, using the same "Waiver" button that was used to initially stock the roster. Drop/Add requests must be made between the start of the games for a given week and Wednesday evening at 10:59 p.m. ET. The drop/add selections will remain hidden to the other owners until they are processed on Wednesday night at 11 p.m. ET.

7. You can select up to TWO Free Agents per week. If adding a player or players will take you over the roster size or salary cap limits for this league, you will also need to designate the necessary players to be dropped that will keep you within these limits. Leaving the dropped player field blank will cause the following to happen - the system will SKIP OVER anyone who would be in violation of the roster size restrictions by adding a player.

8. Each week during the regular season, owners will need to submit a starting lineup consisting of: 1 QB, 1-2 RB, 3-4 WR, 1 TE, 1 PK and 1 DF. Standings will be figured on a total points basis using the starting lineup you submit each week.

9. You will be responsible for fielding a complete team during bye weeks. No carryover points will be awarded for position players or NFL teams.

Section II - Scoring

1. The decimal scoring method will be combined (basic + performance) with points awarded as follows:

  • RUSHING - .1 point every 1 yard, 6 for every touchdown between 0 and 49 yards, 7 for every touchdown of 50+ yards, 2 for conv., 1 point every 10 carries, -1 point for every fumble, -3 additional points for a fumble returned for a TD
