1.01 1. Tacoma Killers Tomlinson, Ladainian SDC RBWed Jun 25 6:43:39 a.m. ET 2003 # 1 on my Draft Board all along
1.02 2. Warp Speed Warriors Williams, Ricky MIA RBWed Jun 25 7:01:13 a.m. ET 2003 would have liked to get LT because of the receptions, but I'm happy with Ricky. Really, you can't go wrong with any of the top 6 or 7 backs.
1.03 3. Phoenix Desert Dawgs Alexander, Shaun SEA RBWed Jun 25 1:16:42 p.m. ET 2003 You see, the guys before me had it easy. I could wrestle with Alexander vs. Portis for the rest of the summer. When it comes down to it, I trust the Seattle offense just a little bit more than Denver's, at least this year.
1.04 4. KnackersWackers Portis, Clinton WAS RBWed Jun 25 9:02:48 p.m. ET 2003 This pick is for Shrek. We agreed to a trade earlier. We just wanted to speed this up. Shrek will pick for me unless Kirk runs the trade thru the system. This is for Shrek!
1.05 5. Dazed and Confused Faulk, Marshall STL RBWed Jun 25 9:15:01 p.m. ET 2003 Computer crashed twice trying to make this pick. I hope it isn't a sign.
1.06 6. Deadly Force McAllister, Deuce NOS RBWed Jun 25 9:20:11 p.m. ET 2003 This pick is for Scott, Warsaw Death Squad.
1.07 7. Shrek's Shagadellic Squirrels James, Edgerrin IND RBThu Jun 26 7:30:57 p.m. ET 2003 After much agonizing over whether to take a chance on Holmes, I just couldn't do it. James is still young and will hopefully regain his pre-ACL form that made him a top 2 pick a couple of years ago.
1.08 8. Carnivorous Vegans Green, Ahman GBP RBThu Jun 26 7:30:57 p.m. ET 2003
1.09 9. Warsaw Death Squad Davis, Stephen CAR RBThu Jun 26 7:30:57 p.m. ET 2003
1.10 10. Thunder Henry, Travis BUF RBThu Jun 26 8:49:40 p.m. ET 2003 Can't pass him up at 10, even if Priest is still available. Didn't really expect this level of RB talent at this spot.
1.11 11. Roseville Renegades Bennett, Michael MIN RBThu Jun 26 8:49:40 p.m. ET 2003
1.12 12. Gossamer Monsters Owens, Terrell PHI WRThu Jun 26 8:49:40 p.m. ET 2003
2.01 13. Gossamer Monsters Harrison, Marvin IND WRThu Jun 26 8:49:40 p.m. ET 2003
2.02 14. Roseville Renegades Dillon, Corey CIN RBFri Jun 27 10:04:45 a.m. ET 2003 Spent time last night pondering and pondering until I fell asleep on the couch. My youngest woke me up this morning. Thankfully I didn't pick last night, who knows what I might have done. Can't take Priest, too much risk for the second round. Can't take Moss, I already have Bennett and I just hate having a RB and a WR from the same team. Also, Bennett has some risk in and of himself, so I need to shore up the RB position with someone solid. So that means Dillon. Hopefully his TD totals increase.
2.03 15. Thunder Holmes, Priest KCC RBFri Jun 27 10:04:45 a.m. ET 2003
2.04 16. Warsaw Death Squad Moss, Randy MIN WRFri Jun 27 11:47:33 a.m. ET 2003 I can't pass on my man Moss! Just hope he stay's clean!
2.05 17. Carnivorous Vegans Green, William CLE RBFri Jun 27 11:47:33 a.m. ET 2003
2.06 18. Shrek's Shagadellic Squirrels Lewis, Jamal BAL RBFri Jun 27 11:47:33 a.m. ET 2003
2.07 19. Deadly Force Vick, Michael ATL QBFri Jun 27 5:08:52 p.m. ET 2003 This pick is for Steve, Phoenix Desert Dogs. We completed a trade.
2.08 20. Dazed and Confused Taylor, Fred JAC RBFri Jun 27 5:17:44 p.m. ET 2003
2.09 21. KnackersWackers Barber, Tiki NYG RBFri Jun 27 6:20:49 p.m. ET 2003 This pick is for Justin of Thunder. We just agreed on a trade. Thunder's pick!
2.10 22. Phoenix Desert Dawgs Moulds, Eric BUF WRFri Jun 27 6:49:20 p.m. ET 2003 This pick is for Scott/Warsaw. And a damn fine pick it is, too, might I add.
2.11 23. Warp Speed Warriors McNabb, Donovan PHI QBFri Jun 27 7:54:25 p.m. ET 2003 tried to trade up to get Barber but the Desert Dogs obviously made an offer that couldn't be refused. Would have liked to take Taylor next but he's also gone. With all the "elite" backs gone then I'll take the player who could be the top QB... only time will tell.
2.12 24. Tacoma Killers Culpepper, Daunte MIN QBFri Jun 27 8:10:00 p.m. ET 2003 Best player available pick IMO
3.01 25. Tacoma Killers George, Eddie TEN RBFri Jun 27 9:32:07 p.m. ET 2003 Tough call in a Dynasty League
3.02 26. Warp Speed Warriors Garner, Charlie TBB RBFri Jun 27 9:50:09 p.m. ET 2003 this was an extremely tough call for many reasons, most importantly his age, lack of red zone touches, and the fact that their are some nice WRs left. Here's why I took him: I looked into the scoring from 2002 and found he was the #7 back, only scored saingle digits once, and outscored the top WR left on the board by 36 and the #2 WR left by 79! I was suprised by these stats... those 91 catches added up. This could end up being my make-or-break pick... here's hoping I don't regret passing on the WRs.
3.03 27. Phoenix Desert Dawgs Burress, Plaxico PIT WRSat Jun 28 9:27:23 a.m. ET 2003
3.04 28. KnackersWackers Robinson, Koren SEA WRSat Jun 28 9:37:43 a.m. ET 2003 Scott made my decision easy. I really wanted Robinson, but I felt obligated to take Burress if he was still available. I selected Robinson due to his age, health, recent production, and easiest schedule vs. the pass this season. Oh, and Seahawks#45's extreme optimism!
3.05 29. Dazed and Confused Martin, Curtis NYJ RBSat Jun 28 9:47:42 a.m. ET 2003 I thought I would be one of the last teams to get my third running back. I also figured Martin to be gone by now.
3.06 30. Deadly Force Manning, Peyton IND QBSat Jun 28 3:39:37 p.m. ET 2003 Just enough of the quality WRs have gone to make Manning the best player on the board, as far as I can see. Plus, I have ton conitnue Scott's run on QBs. 3 plyers is not a "run"!
3.07 31. Shrek's Shagadellic Squirrels Ward, Hines PIT WRSun Jun 29 11:48:53 a.m. ET 2003 this may seem like an odd pick, but I felt he offered the best balance of current and future production. He's topped 90 catches 2 years in a row, which is huge for our system. He was #2 among WRs in 2002 scoring and is 43 points better than the next WR left.
3.08 32. Carnivorous Vegans Shockey, Jeremy NYG TESun Jun 29 11:53:32 a.m. ET 2003
3.09 33. Warsaw Death Squad Boston, David MIA WRSun Jun 29 1:41:51 p.m. ET 2003 I have completed a trade with Warsaw Death Squad and the selection of David Boston is for Scott.
3.10 34. Thunder Gannon, Rich OAK QBSun Jun 29 2:09:54 p.m. ET 2003 I got to admit drafting with Gurus is harder than my regular league. I targeted the last four picks and everyone was taken before I had a chance. I've got to make the most of my double picks in this round and next. Although, I hate to draft a 37-year old QB in the 3rd round I feel there is a significant drop-off after Gannon. He scored the 2nd most points by this league's scoring last season and he faces the 6th easiest schedule against the pass this season. I need a FF homerun hitter.
3.11 35. Roseville Renegades Buccaneers, Tampa Bay TBB DefSun Jun 29 4:53:42 p.m. ET 2003 OK Everybody, stop laughing. There are 15 QB's that, in this scoring system, scored more points than the Buc's. So holding off on a QB makes sense. Other than that, not a SINGLE WR left scored more points than the Buc's D, and only ONE RB did that. So I'm taking the top D for the next 5 years or so. To tell you the truth, Gannon was my projected pick, so was Robinson, and Manning, etc. That's why I'm refusing to pre-draft anymore. I want to see how everything is laid out before making my picks.
3.12 36. Gossamer Monsters Barlow, Kevan SFO RBSun Jun 29 4:53:42 p.m. ET 2003
4.01 37. Gossamer Monsters Toomer, Amani NYG WRSun Jun 29 4:53:42 p.m. ET 2003
4.02 38. Roseville Renegades Coles, Laveranues WAS WRSun Jun 29 5:03:05 p.m. ET 2003 Need a stud WR now as I don't pick for awhile. Figured I would be safe waiting the two picks in between as Kahuna-man is loaded at WR. He'll probably suffer for awhile at the start, but once he gets some chemistry, watch out. He's actually my sixth WR on my list, so a fourth round pick is super value IMO. See you in a day or two when I pick again!
4.03 39. Thunder Stallworth, Donte' NOS WRSun Jun 29 9:31:41 p.m. ET 2003 This pick is for Dean, Carnivorous Vegans. We completed a trade.
4.04 40. Warsaw Death Squad Warner, Kurt STL QBSun Jun 29 9:42:04 p.m. ET 2003 Hey last year he was a top five pick. Hoping for a comeback!
4.05 41. Carnivorous Vegans Johnson, Chad CIN WRSun Jun 29 9:42:04 p.m. ET 2003
4.06 42. Shrek's Shagadellic Squirrels Heap, Todd BAL TESun Jun 29 9:42:04 p.m. ET 2003
4.07 43. Deadly Force Gonzalez, Tony KCC TEMon Jun 30 9:43:32 a.m. ET 2003 This pick is for Dean, Carnivorous Vegans. This pick is part of a trade we completed.
4.08 44. Dazed and Confused Horn, Joe NOS WRMon Jun 30 9:43:32 a.m. ET 2003
4.09 45. KnackersWackers Holt, Torry STL WRMon Jun 30 10:17:33 a.m. ET 2003 And that completes my QB and WR combo.
4.10 46. Phoenix Desert Dawgs Driver, Donald GBP WRMon Jun 30 3:21:33 p.m. ET 2003 Driver was one of the receivers I was hoping to have available with this pick. I think he's a pretty solid option as long as Favre stays on board. Once he leaves, though, his value becomes a little shakier, I know. Still, I think I have at least two solid seasons left. The Packers have a pretty soft schedule against the pass, too.
4.11 47. Warp Speed Warriors Booker, Marty CHI WRMon Jun 30 10:38:39 p.m. ET 2003 Tough decision here. Had Holt, Horn and Driver all targeted 4 picks before this one. Figured at least one would make it to me. No such luck. Booker should put up some decent numbers at least.
4.12 48. Tacoma Killers Chambers, Chris MIA WRTue Jul 1 7:21:28 a.m. ET 2003
5.01 49. Tacoma Killers Gardner, Rod WAS WRTue Jul 1 7:28:04 a.m. ET 2003
5.02 50. Warp Speed Warriors Porter, Jerry OAK WRTue Jul 1 10:50:47 a.m. ET 2003 Might be a bit of a reach here, but I think that he is ready to explode this year.
5.03 51. Phoenix Desert Dawgs Jackson, Darrell SEA WRTue Jul 1 3:58:23 p.m. ET 2003 This pick is for Gordon!!!!!!!!!!! I just got home and find my inbox flooded with offers for the 5-4 pick. I hate to say this but I want to respond to these 3 offers. It wont take me long, there is a drop off in talent coming up IMHO, I know who I want now. I just want to weigh my options but I am going to do so quickly! Sorry for another dealy, hope you all understand. I have no computer access at work. Scott
5.04 52. KnackersWackers Rogers, Charles DET WRTue Jul 1 5:47:19 p.m. ET 2003 I cant wait any longer! I am so sold on this guy! Thought about a few different WR's here. Wasn't sold on any of the remaining RB's vs the value of the pick. Debated between Rogers and a QB. Rogers could be a dominate go to WR and is only 22 on a young team with a young QB. And when Mooch says Rogers is more talented than TO, I listen! Coach speak or not! I like drafting a teams go to WR over a teams #2 personally. Give me the guy they look to all the time!
5.05 53. Dazed and Confused Hasselbeck, Matt SEA QBTue Jul 1 5:47:19 p.m. ET 2003
5.06 54. Deadly Force Price, Peerless ATL WRTue Jul 1 7:16:00 p.m. ET 2003 To everyone offering me trades, my apologies for not getting to you before this but I'm in a rush and don't want to hold anyone else up. Suffice it to say that I'm a little bit stank that Rod Gardner and Charles Rogers just went...they were the two receivers slotted for this pick. I decided the 5th round is as good a time as any to make an "upside" pick, so I'm picking Price.
5.07 55. Shrek's Shagadellic Squirrels Garcia, Jeff CLE QBTue Jul 1 10:16:37 p.m. ET 2003 Really counting on the Guru on this one. Sounds like the Erickson coaching change could be a great move for Garcia (and Owens). Considered Brooks but I'm not so high on him this year. Still can't throw normally yet because of shoulder and I think last year's stats are a little misleading. I had him on my team and many of his points were due to his errors early in the game. He would throw three interceptions in the 1st quarter and the Saints would be down 17 or 21 to nothing. Brooks would then have to pass the rest of the game which would create great stats on paper. (Particularly in this league's system since we don't deduct points for INTs.)
5.08 56. Carnivorous Vegans Johnson, Andre HOU WRTue Jul 1 10:31:00 p.m. ET 2003
5.09 57. Warsaw Death Squad Hambrick, Troy DAL RBTue Jul 1 10:45:14 p.m. ET 2003 If he's good enough for John Hansen to draft him 38th in a 10 team mock draft that I participated in with him yesterday then I suppose I'm getting a steal here in the 5th with the 57th player taken. Oh well time will tell.
5.10 58. Thunder Thomas, Anthony CHI RBWed Jul 2 12:37:39 a.m. ET 2003 Sorry for the delay guys, definitely having technical difficulties. Another RB you say? Yep, can't rely totally on Priest and guess who both have byes week 9? Priest and Henry. Can a mobile Kordell take some pressure off Thomas who has reported to camp in great shape? Sure hope so, hate for this to be a bust
5.11 59. Roseville Renegades Morgan, Quincy CLE WRWed Jul 2 12:52:02 a.m. ET 2003 Let's see. Two of my top three 'wants' for this round were Hasselbeck and Porter. I was really hoping for Hasselbeck to fall to me here, but so much for that happening. Morgan was my second choice with Porter following. Morgan is in that special 3rd year for WR's, so watch while he just busts out all over the place. Waaa Haaa Haaa Haaaaa * cough...choke....gurgle.....ghmnmnnch. Need to stop doing that laugh, kills the throat. Have one guy pegged for 3 picks from now, so Tacoma, please don't pick him. I will give you one hint though, the player I want is MALE. That should help narrow it down a tad bit.
5.12 60. Gossamer Monsters Staley, Duce PIT RBWed Jul 2 12:52:02 a.m. ET 2003
6.01 61. Gossamer Monsters Zereoue, Amos FA RBWed Jul 2 12:52:02 a.m. ET 2003
6.02 62. Roseville Renegades Stewart, James FA RBWed Jul 2 1:34:02 a.m. ET 2003 Changed my mind. Needed a RB that can score points now. Hopefully the player I pegged here will still be hanging around 21 picks from now. Let's see. I picked at about 5pm Eastern on Sunday, picking here at 1:30am Eastern on Wednesday. That means I should be drafting again sometime around Thursday night/Friday morning.
6.03 63. Thunder Lelie, Ashley DEN WRWed Jul 2 1:39:43 a.m. ET 2003 Well this sums up my draft so far. The first WR I take is a #3 on his team. I wanted Q Morgan, but WSW took care of that. And I really thought the Rogers and A Johnson would be around for picking in round 10 or 12 or whatever. Who the heck are we going be drafting in rounds 15-20? Anyhow, Lelie is a speedster, Smith and Easy Ed are 33 and older, so Lelie should be one year away. And Plummer can send it deep. This really hurts.
6.04 64. Warsaw Death Squad Shipp, Marcel ARI RBWed Jul 2 8:07:42 a.m. ET 2003 All this player did was score more points then every other RB in the NFL with the exception of Tomlinson, Williams, Alexander and Barber in the second half of the season last year and he did it splitting time with Jones. He will either take over the starting Job from Smith sometime during the year or 2004 latest. He has still shown an ability to get you points in a reserve roll. Will be huge if he starts!
6.05 65. Carnivorous Vegans Duckett, T.J. ATL RBWed Jul 2 8:07:42 a.m. ET 2003
6.06 66. Shrek's Shagadellic Squirrels Akers, David PHI PKWed Jul 2 5:04:16 p.m. ET 2003 Alright, I'll make a boom-or-bust pick here. Hope it works out!
6.07 67. Deadly Force Brooks, Aaron NOS QBWed Jul 2 5:11:45 p.m. ET 2003 Wow! A defense in the 3rd and a kicker in the 6th. Hopefully, my selection doesn't draw quite as many raised eyebrows. Brooks is obviously insurance for my starting QB, who will begin collecting Social Security next year, and the best player left on the board IMO.
6.08 68. Dazed and Confused Bruce, Isaac STL WRWed Jul 2 5:22:49 p.m. ET 2003
6.09 69. KnackersWackers Jordan, Lamont NYJ RBWed Jul 2 7:19:18 p.m. ET 2003 Needed a RB and I love this guys upside. Plus he is already the goal line RB. He is the complete package and young still.
6.10 70. Phoenix Desert Dawgs Smith, Antowain NEP RBThu Jul 3 7:47:37 a.m. ET 2003 Suffice it to say that I'm as big a Redskins fan as you guiys will ever meet. Imagine being a Redskins fan and choosing between Emmitt Smith and Antowain Smith (who plays the Redskins the week my other two RBs are on a bye). Gah!
6.11 71. Warp Speed Warriors Mason, Derrick TEN WRThu Jul 3 7:47:37 a.m. ET 2003
6.12 72. Tacoma Killers Smith, Rod DEN WRThu Jul 3 7:47:37 a.m. ET 2003
7.01 73. Tacoma Killers Mack, Stacey HOU RBThu Jul 3 7:47:37 a.m. ET 2003
7.02 74. Warp Speed Warriors Brown, Troy NEP WRThu Jul 3 12:27:07 p.m. ET 2003 Guru seems to high on him and he really racks up the receptions when healthy which should help in this league.
7.03 75. Phoenix Desert Dawgs Conway, Curtis FA WRThu Jul 3 2:25:45 p.m. ET 2003
7.04 76. KnackersWackers Dunn, Warrick ATL RBThu Jul 3 2:25:45 p.m. ET 2003
7.05 77. Dazed and Confused Smith, Jimmy JAC WRThu Jul 3 3:13:35 p.m. ET 2003
7.06 78. Deadly Force Rice, Jerry OAK WRThu Jul 3 3:56:53 p.m. ET 2003 This has been the most frustrating round. Literally, eight of the nine players selected I had targeted for this selection. I guess the old cliche "great minds think alike" has its downside.
7.07 79. Shrek's Shagadellic Squirrels Johnson, Keyshawn DAL WRThu Jul 3 4:16:15 p.m. ET 2003 not very excited by this pick, but you know what you're getting with Keyshawn, and the young guns are pretty much off the board. He'll be lucky to haul in 6 TDs, but should catch 80+ balls and rack up around 1,100 yards. Hopefulyl he still demands that Johnson "throw him the damn ball" because Johnson likes to spread it around among Key, Keenan, and Jurevicious (sp?)
7.08 80. Carnivorous Vegans Pennington, Chad NYJ QBThu Jul 3 4:16:15 p.m. ET 2003
7.09 81. Warsaw Death Squad Walker, Javon GBP WRThu Jul 3 4:54:59 p.m. ET 2003 I didnt think he would fall this far, maybe I have him over rated. This guy is too talented to not get on the field. Favre retires and this guy can still produce. Not sure Driver or Ferguson can make the same claim. I'm Staying young. Im making the call now Gordon. TE run is coming! I almost started it. heh
7.10 82. Thunder Taylor, Travis BAL WRThu Jul 3 6:14:09 p.m. ET 2003 This was a tough pick from about 5 guys, but mini camp news on Taylor is positive, and he is the clear #1 with Sanders and Robinson behind him. I just hope he is reliable.
7.11 83. Roseville Renegades Brady, Tom NEP QBThu Jul 3 7:15:25 p.m. ET 2003 Let's see, only 26 years old. Scored the 8th most points LY, Pat's have been passing away lately. I think this is a great value pick at round 7. Besides, it is my belief that the kalua-man will take a QB with one of his next two picks so I'll score mine now.
7.12 84. Gossamer Monsters Bledsoe, Drew BUF QBThu Jul 3 7:15:25 p.m. ET 2003
8.01 85. Gossamer Monsters Bryant, Antonio DAL WRThu Jul 3 7:15:25 p.m. ET 2003
8.02 86. Roseville Renegades Franks, Bubba GBP TEThu Jul 3 7:21:42 p.m. ET 2003 I'll start the TE run. Let's hope he keeps scoring TD's! Here's my token Packer player too. Got to be a homer.
8.03 87. Thunder Dolphins, Miami MIA DefThu Jul 3 7:29:12 p.m. ET 2003 Screw the TE run... go DEFENSE!!!
8.04 88. Warsaw Death Squad McMichael, Randy MIA TEThu Jul 3 7:29:12 p.m. ET 2003
8.05 89. Carnivorous Vegans Collins, Kerry NYG QBThu Jul 3 7:33:13 p.m. ET 2003
8.06 90. Shrek's Shagadellic Squirrels Ravens, Baltimore BAL DefThu Jul 3 7:45:20 p.m. ET 2003 I'll keep the defenses rolling. Team already has a great mixture of young talent almost all under contract for the long haul. Plus in good cap shape now so the defense should be kept intact for a while. Might be a reach but I don't want to take a chance on missing them. Particularly with John's endorsement today in the draft article.
8.07 91. Deadly Force Crumpler, Alge ATL TEThu Jul 3 8:05:20 p.m. ET 2003 This was a difficult decision. I narrowed my choice to two young tight ends, however since polygamy is outlawed I had to chose just one. I probably should have signed prenuptials, just in case.
8.08 92. Dazed and Confused Gordon, Lamar STL RBThu Jul 3 8:05:20 p.m. ET 2003

8.11 95. Warp Speed Warriors Pinkston, Todd PHI WRFri Jul 4 4:16:36 p.m. ET 2003 This was tough but he is chosen as the #1 target for one of the top QBs in the game. He also is playing to become a free agent. Hope to see something.

9.04 100. KnackersWackers McGahee, Willis BUF RBSat Jul 5 10:39:05 a.m. ET 2003 Total gamble. If this guy sits and comes back next year, in a fresh draft he will be a high 2nd. Super value here. W/O injury, he was a low first in this one. I dont see anyone left who fits that mold. Only thing left is OLD QB's or to young QB's. Dont want old, already young. Middle of the road WR's I have enuff. RB's suck for the most part. I thought this was value!

9.10 106. Thunder Wayne, Reggie IND WRSat Jul 5 3:56:46 p.m. ET 2003 disappointing, as I had Favre, Carolina, Philly, or Reed targeted with this pick as recently as noon today, and all 4 went in the last 5 picks. Guess that's what I get for trading down. I need some youth at WR and Wayne could be on the verge of a classic 3rd year breakout - of course, he'll have to grab Marvin's leftovers!
9.11 107. Roseville Renegades Hearst, Garrison DEN RBSat Jul 5 4:03:32 p.m. ET 2003 Well, he has one thing going for him, he has a different bye week! He's not exactly a long term prospect, but he's a solid player for this year. By the way, I had Reed, Ramsey, and Favre pegged for after this pick. RATS!

10.02 110. Roseville Renegades Bulger, Marc STL QBSat Jul 5 4:24:53 p.m. ET 2003 This is my 'Warner won't make it to or through the season' vote. Not only is he gold if Warner goes down, but it potentially hacks off a few people. Just kidding Vegan. Let's see, projected next pick time is Monday evening. But hopefully I'm wrong and it'll be Sunday night instead.
10.03 111. Thunder Caldwell, Reche SDC WRSat Jul 5 4:46:46 p.m. ET 2003 took me a bit to figure this out
10.04 112. Warsaw Death Squad Leftwich, Byron JAC QBSat Jul 5 5:04:54 p.m. ET 2003 Just a quote from the Guru. I just hope I have settled on a QB for the next 10 years. Leftwich should be a phenomenal NFL QB. He?s smart, tough, and a good leader. He?s a huge passer with a very strong arm. Like Dan Marino, he has a quick release and is very accurate, so he should spend the next 10 years sitting back in the pocket picking NFL defenses apart.

10.11 119. Warp Speed Warriors Steelers, Pittsburgh PIT DefSat Jul 5 6:49:45 p.m. ET 2003 debated on this pick for quite awhile and finally decided there just wasn't enough left at the skill positions. If the secondary improves this will be a solid defense that will get its share of sacks as usual.

11.02 122. Warp Speed Warriors McNair, Steve TEN QBSat Jul 5 11:37:23 p.m. ET 2003 faces the Saints and their 27th ranked pass defense on McNabb's bye week. Despite always playing hurt he was still the #8 QB in our system and 57 pts higher then the next best QB. McNabb is my future so McNair doesn't need to play at a high level for more than the next 2 years as a backup. I guess you could call my signal-callers the "McQuarterbacks" - hopefully they'll Super Size the points this year!
11.03 123. Phoenix Desert Dawgs Bettis, Jerome PIT RBSat Jul 5 11:37:23 p.m. ET 2003
11.04 124. KnackersWackers Finneran, Brian ATL WRSun Jul 6 1:22:47 a.m. ET 2003 Best hands in ATL says D Reeves and M Vick. Vicks favorite target. Big speedy guy and now is a defenses 3rd worry with Price and Crumpler! ATL hardest schedule against the run, they will throw, often. Why aren't more guys on his bandwagon? Am I this far off base with him? Reeves calls him better than Easy Ed. I call him 1100 yds and 9 TD's. I have had him to go off my board for over a round, I cant over look him any longer. As much as my team is screaming for another young talented WR. Value is value. Someone is gonna need these guys.

11.06 126. Deadly Force Ferguson, Robert GBP WRSun Jul 6 2:33:29 a.m. ET 2003 Walker is the more tealnted bet to become the #2 WR, but don't count Ferguson out either. He's a a better blocker and just may be better at making the tough catches. Taking a shot here, who knows? Even if he opens as the #3 the Pack have a great schedule vs the pass, so Fergie should help either way.

11.10 130. Thunder Smith, Emmitt ARI RBSun Jul 6 1:44:51 p.m. ET 2003 Man the NFLs all time leading rusher at 11.10? What a bargain. Just hope he plays the first half of the season or until Priest is 100%. Needed another starter to support Henry and Thomas in case Holmes isn't ready. Besides, all my other choices such as KJ, Bettis, Terrell, and Finneran just left the building. And since NFL Season Ticket blacks out all the Cardinal home games, I am only subject to half the torture.
11.11 131. Roseville Renegades Brown, Tim OAK WRSun Jul 6 7:32:09 p.m. ET 2003 He's old, probably only good for one season, but he's a starter at this point. Sorry, was out moving baby furniture for some friends this afternoon.

12.09 141. KnackersWackers Palmer, Carson CIN QBSun Jul 6 8:47:32 p.m. ET 2003 I continue with my great QB combo. What a tandem I have assembled, the strength of my team! Man do I suck! I had 5 players targeted, all of them were drafted before it made it back to me. I thought I was safe with the Snake, no such luck (thanks Warren!) Oh well, at least I can ensure some good trade talks after the draft. I really love Palmers upside. When I seen Leftwich get picked, I just knew I would loose out on Palmer, at least one QB I liked fell to me late. I have high hopes for Ramsey, hope Im not wrong.

I really thought Morris and Stewart were safe only going 5 picks, like always in this draft, I guessed wrong. High upside pick. Graham was only slightly behind SHockey coming out, some even had Graham ahead of him talent wise. Wide open in NE, his speed and size is a large advantage to Brady. One Im hoping as Brady matures he will take advantage of.
