They also got help from a 27 point effort from Donovan McNabb, who got by the Redskins defense for 242 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 16 rushing yards.

"We played our hearts out," Shady Records coach Kenny Weinstein said.

Dave's Waves were helped out in a losing cause by a 15 point effort from Jeff Garcia, who got by the Bengals defense for 248 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 15 rushing yards. They also got help from a 14 point effort from Ricky Williams, who snuck past the Jets defense for 73 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 72 receiving yards.

"This is a bitter pill to swallow," Dave's Waves coach Dave Wesle said.

Crescent City Gorillas were led to their 1 point victory by a 18 point effort from Rudi Johnson, who snuck past the Browns defense for 52 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 25 receiving yards. With this performance, Johnson was the number 6 ranked running back for week 17. They also got help from a 12 point effort from Jamal Lewis, who beat the Steelers defense for 114 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 13 receiving yards.

"We're happy we could pull this one out at the end," Crescent City Gorillas coach Tom Gruber said.

North Carolina 419ers were helped out in a losing cause by a 14 point effort from Donte' Stallworth, who beat the Cowboys defense for 114 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD. With this performance, Stallworth was the number 3 ranked wide receiver for week 17. They also got help from a 12 point effort from the New Orleans Saints Defensive Team.

"They ate our lunch," North Carolina 419ers coach Kris Schlitter said.

Compounding the issue, North Carolina 419ers could have scored 63 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Kris Schlitter left key players like Duce Staley and his corresponding 4 points on the bench.

This brings the record for Crescent City Gorillas to 8-9, and drops North Carolina 419ers to a record of 7-10.
